First Fence Of Georgia

The folks at First Fence went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with our fence. They even added an 18" piece of fence between the fence-end and one of our gates. We are extremely happy with the results and would definitely use them in the future!

I am writing this review so no one will make the same mistake I made when dealing with First Fence of Georgia. First of all, I am very happy with the fence they installed. It looks great. My issue is with the gate operator that they ordered for me. When talking with the sales rep and explaining the issues of the gate I had we talked about running electricity to the area where the new gate operator was going to be placed. We also talked about what happens when the power goes out and how we would get out if that happens. He recommended that we put a battery back up in the gate operator and made notes that this is what I wanted. When I received the proposal it outlined the cost for the fence and the gate operator. There was no mention of the battery back up in the proposal and I assumed that it was already incorporated (That was my mistake; I should have questioned it there). The day that the gate operator was installed I asked about the battery backup and the installers said the unit did not have one. This turns out to be a very costly oversight. After doing some research and talking with the manufacture it would have only been a $600 extra charge for the unit. After the operator has been installed though, it turns out it is about $1,800 to have one added. This is due to having a new mother board added and wiring for the battery backup. There was one other issue with the gate operator. When I spoke to the sales rep I told him that I wanted the functionality for the gate to stay open if I specified for it to stay open. He said there will be a code for me to enter for this to happen. The gate operator they ordered for me does not have this feature. I will have to place a piece of cardboard over the sensors to keep it open. I hope this review helps and make sure you have everything ironed out before you make your final payment. Their response time has been very poor when trying to figure out options to fix my issues.

They installed a privacy fence on our backyard. They were always on time, the crews were polite, worked diligently, and reviewed the finally product with us.
