Beware, we hired Chuck to design our new home. It was such a shame because Chuck is VERY good at designing, personable, professional (until he wasn't), high quality product, but he never finished the job; he just disappeared. Many phone calls, emails, and texts, even offered to pay more or purchase the semi-complete plans, gave him a month to respond, nothing. He was 95% done with the design, about to start the construction drawings, and then gone with the wind. We had to start over with another designer, delaying our project by at least 4 months. Just weird, beware. If you can lock him in a cage so he can't get away, hire him, if not you are rolling the dice.

Chuck was a great guy to work with. He was very receptive to our ideas and had positive imput and information to help us design an addition to our home. It was an involved design because it had to incorporate ADA usability. He also made our ideas even better. Can't thank him enough for his professionalism and friendly demeanor. He was also accomodating to our crazy time schedules for meetings. Can't recommend him highly enough!

It has been a pleasure working with this outfit. Chuck came into the picture on a project that my company had taken over, and helped us rework the mess the last contractor created.

I hired Chuck for a medium sized renovation about 4 months ago, and I was overall pleased with our initial work together. He had solid expertise and his initial plans that he drafted up looked very good, and he was good to work with overall. That is why I am so confused as to what happened next. The problem came about 2 and a half months ago when he stopped answering any and all phone calls or emails. This was right when we were about to go into the permitting, and he was about 80% done on the plans. I sent him a check before that time for the reminder of the design phase, and my first cue was that the check was not deposited for 1 month. I sent him repeated emails, never getting an answer, and finally noticed that the check had been signed and deposited by him. I also received an anonymous invite to plan gird, where my 80% done plans were posted. Really strange. I hope something bad did not happen to Chuck, and my greatest sympathies would go out to him if that were the case. I will be happy to modify this review if I'm notified of something. Given, however, that my check was deposited, and he technically still owes me a set of plans, the whole scene is very suspicious. I'm sad to say I burned 3k on this project, but I'm also happy things did not progress further and that I wasn't left with a half completed structure or something like that. I would be very careful about hiring this person if they claim to still be in business, as several people have been burned over the last few months. Thank you

Hired Form Studio to help design and permit a new home. We liked working with Chuck and his ideas. Problem was he never finished the contracted work and we had to let him go.

Attentive, patient and listens to the clients ideas and forms stunning results around them. He asks questions and takes great care to integrate style and budget to Create something that you can be proud of. I Can't say enough about how happy I am with his creation born from my ideas. Nicely done.

I hired Chuck to draw up plans for an addition I am doing. He was quick to respond and designed the addition exactly like I wanted. He also changed a few features on my roof that should make a huge difference in appearance. His pricing was fair and he stayed on top of getting the plans to me quickly. He went above and beyond with the plans and even gave us ideas on other parts of the house that weren't in the scope of work. I would recommend Chuck highly if you are needing someone that is capable of drawing up permit ready plans.

Chuck fashioned a bar top and post cladding from some partly rotten but beautiful maple planks we had acquired. He thought about every aspect, from strength to beauty. The result is the centerpiece of our kitchen and dining area. His price was reasonable, the work was done promptly, and it was a pleasure to work with him.
