Do NOT waste your time or money on this contractor.. Casa NOVA Design & Contracting is a poor excuse of a company, the work performed by this company and the character of the owner Gabrini was alarming. After many thoughtless mistakes, our "Newly Renovated" home looked much worse than before in certain areas. The "NEW" quarter round used throughout our house, which we paid for, looks absolutely horrific.. Not only was all quarter round used throughout our home stained with black marks on almost all areas (unsure how this even became so dirty if it were new), there were slices in random areas where he made cuts for reasons unknown to us and then painted over it as if that would hide it, not to mention all edges where the quarter round meet up have chipped paint from where he cut the material. So, a newly renovated house now has hideous quarter round in every square inch as a constant reminder of the terrible work that was performed by the owner himself. It is unbelievable that we had to pay for this work to be done. Next issue, Gabrini FAILED TO PUT NEW WAX WHEN INSTALLING OUR TOILET! We now have ceiling damage on the 1st floor of our home where the water from our toilet began leaking through our ceiling from the 2nd floor. You could watch the water pour out from our ceiling with every flush due to this mindless mistake, HE DID NOT BOTHER TO PAY FOR OUR CEILING TO BE FIXED. After paying thousands of dollars to this company, we now had pay another contractor to come in and fix the damage that Gabrini caused. Our stairs, in all of my life I have never seen stairs done in such an awful fashion. He failed to measure every tread and came out with a result of all 13 steps having a gap between the wall and tread as opposed to being flush with the wall as it should have been. In order to fix this mistake, he used his wonderful design skills to come up with a solution of using extremely unattractive white wooden trim to lay over these gaps as if the gap would now magically disappear from sight. Now, not only could you still see the gap from the forward facing angle, you now got to look at trim that no one in their life has probably ever used on a staircase. None of the new treads were sanded or sealed so immediately the treads became noticeably scratched from our pups going up and down. And to top it all off, as we made our way up and down the staircase, our stairs now screamed out to us due to how poorly they were secured. Yet again, WE HAD TO PAY ANOTHER CONTRACTOR to come in and entirely redo our staircase, this contractor could not believe his eyes when looking at the work that was done by Casa NOVA and asked if the previous guy who did the work was an actual contractor. There were zero efforts made by Casa NOVA to help pay for damages to our ceiling or to provide a fix for our staircase. We had to spend a lot more money to fix a "professionals" work. DO NOT LET THIS CONTRACTOR DECEIVE YOU!!

GO WITH LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE! I am dumbfounded how this poor excuse of a company has 5 stars as he, in his own words, has told me he had to "take a step back due to issues and the quality" of his work. As far as I can tell he is trying to self-perform as much as he can (which by no means is a bad thing, if you are competent in your trade), while learning how to do the work on your dime in your home; there are mindless and amateur mistakes on EVERYTHING he touched. I will admit he puts on a good show before he gets the job, that is where it starts going down hill. Not only is his price WAY too high for the terrible quality of work, I was forced to move all of my furniture personally to have my floors redone with LVP (which he subbed out and was the only decent work done). The job took three days longer than expected and required me to call him back on-site multiple times. The Quarter Round replacements he left behind are atrocious as EVERY single joint is chipped and meets up poorly with the next piece. None of the ends were painted or canted at entrances. He did not use spacers on the tile work he did in both of my bathrooms leaving uneven tiles across the entire floor that will have to be redone. The grout is cracked in multiple locations, specifically where it meets the tub. I explicitly asked him about needing to brace a mirror that would be left on the wall, even offered him the wood to secure it, and he promised me it would be ok.. Well, it fell off the wall. May seem miniscule, but it was a 96" x 48" mirror.... I, also, specifically asked him if he would need a riser for the toilet as tile was going in where linoleum once was. He elected not to use it, OR A WAX GASKET which caused a leak through my first floor ceiling destroying the stippling in a 4sf area. The oak treads he replaced on my stairs were not sanded nor sealed. It seems he didn't bother measuring when cutting the treads as NONE of them are flush with the base molding. So, his fix was to put this gaudy trim on/around each stair, except he stopped halfway down! He said "people wouldn't be able to see the bottom ones", so he is trying to justify doing a half done job. Not to mention he did not secure them well and it sounds like I am walking through a house built hundreds of years ago when I walk down my stairs. So, I now have to pay someone else to come and re-do my stairs and fix my ceiling as he will not do the right thing and pay for the repairs to his poor workmanship. He swore up and down that he would "honor" his commitment and fix everything until he just stopped responding for weeks. Once I reached out to him informing him I had sought legal council on the matter he miraculously started responding (mind you he still has not answered a SINGLE phone call). He acted as if me seeking legal council was a personal attack and he was not responding because he was out of the country (though he magically got in 10 minutes after informing him I sought legal council).

Gabrini did a full renovation of my kitchen and bathroom and he did an amazing job! He has a great eye for design and is incredibly professional. The actual cost of the projects ended up being less than he initially quoted me, so I was able to use the leftover money in my budget for decor. I highly recommend him and will definitely be using him for future projects!

Gabrini did a great job helping us remodel our Kitchen. He has lots of great ideas and worked hard to make sure we were happy with our finished kitchen.

Gabrini was amazing!! His professionalism and knowledge on the process of my remodel was stellar. He was able to incorporate my likes and preferences and ease my worry and stress all at the same time. He was able to keep to the timelines without cutting corners or quality of work. I’ve recommended him to numerous friends who are also going through remodels. I would definitely hire him for future jobs!
