This was a long overdue kitchen/dining room remodel. Vladimir was professional in every sense of the word, knowledgable, highly skilled and even-keeled when things did not go perfectly, able to problem solve and address the unexpected. He shows up when he says he will, follows up with every communication in a timely manner and maintains a good working relationship with the home owner. The additional crew he employs on site when needed are hard workers and responsible. The job was a mid-range construction project around $71,000. We felt we received a good product for a reasonable price, but more than that, we enjoyed working with a contractor who respects the home owner and is responsive to our concerns and anxieties. We would seek him out for future projects, which we will probably do since our deck is over 30 years old!

Original Builders remodeled my in-laws 1955 2 BR / 1 BA house in Decatur and did an AMAZING job! We took it down to the studs and remodel the kitchen and bathroom -- basically the entire house. Vlad did exactly what he said he would do, with high quality and more importantly -- worked with my wife through the entire process in wonderful way. He is a high-quality person, does great work and I would absolutely use him again on a future job. He would be my first call.

Original Builders is amazing! You will not find a better contractor than Vladimir. He provided an excellent and timely quote. The work was done as stipulated and completed on time. Our home had to be completely gutted, due to fire and water damage. Everything was restored and looks better then the original. Carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, paint and finish work - all was top-notch. If you are considering updating your home or repairing damage, call him. You can thank me later!

We hired Vladimir and his team for a major kitchen and main living area renovation of our 1960’s home. He was incredibly patient with us as we worked through a few different design changes and getting another bid before moving forward with the project. His attention to detail and communication are unparalleled. We have worked with other contractors in the past but there is truly no comparison. The quality of the work - especially the finishing work really sets him apart. Plus he is just such a kind person. Vladimir was incredibly reassuring when we encountered pandemic-related delays and various “old house” surprises that came up along the way, and his estimated budget for the project was accurate. I would not hesitate to hire him again! We really love our new kitchen - he completely transformed the whole main area of our home. We are so grateful to have found him!

I had a great experience with Original Builders, and would not hesitate to use them again! They always show up when expected, communicate well, clean up daily, and of course they do beautiful work! We had some pretty major renovation done on Kitchen, deck, bathroom, den, and converting our dining room to an office. Thanks to COVID, there were some material delays, but everything turned out beautiful. We couldnt be happier with the results.

I have hesitated to write thia review for a simple reason: We were so pleased with the work that Vladimir Kolarik and his team at Original Builders did that I was not sure I would be able to give them a positive review that would be believed. I have decided to boil it down to this: There was at no point in our long four month master bedroom and bath renovation that I did not have the highest comfort level with the work being done. Vladimir is extremely dependable and he consistenly communited with us throughout the process. He showed up when he said he would. His attention to detail is remarkable. The quality of the work is beyond reproach. I consider the day we discovered Vladimir and Original Builders to be one of the most memorable days we have had as homeowners. I know this review might appear overdone, but this is one of the easiest five-star reviews I have had the priviledge of writing. I just wish there were more stars to give. Quite simply, Vladimir Kolaric is as good at what he does as anyone we have encountered. If you are fortunate enough to be able to hire him, jump at the chance.

We were very fortunate to come across Vladimir and Original Builders to build a brand new large bedroom over our garage! What stood out to us was his patience and understanding that we wanted to make the right choices on such a big project, and he made a great recommendation to get professional blueprints so we can accurately get more than one quote. This is not something other builders would ever do in fear of losing our business. Him and his team were always punctual and worked through any hiccups with us professionally and honestly. The new bedroom is beautiful! We will use him for future projects when they come up! Highly recommended!

Original Builders is outstanding. Vladimir’s workmanship and knowledge of the project is amazing. His pricing are in line with what you would expect to pay. Vladimir installed 2 doors for us, 1 large exterior double iron door and 1 double patio door. Both required extra wood work due to the original openings of the area. And it blends in without realizing it was needed. Vladimir is punctual and will not leave without the job done fully and to your satisfaction. There will be other projects around my house and I will definitely use Original Builders again.

Vladimir is simply outstanding. He and his crew are incredible craftsmen. They are professional in everything they do. They quite literally transformed my house and completed every project on time and at great value. I moved from Hawaii to Georgia and bought a house within 2 months of living here. I hate trying to haggle and cold call people just to get quotes and figure out who is the best person for the job. He came to my home with a smile on his face, very honest, very respectful of my modern family and animals and our Hawaiian culture. He does exactly what he says and when he says it! We recently worked with Original Builders on the complete remodel of our master bathroom. Friends of ours recommended Original Builders, and to say we were pleased with our experience and the outcome would be a major understatement! Vladimir Kolarik was a joy to work with from original concept to finished project. He handled every aspect of the project from design to delivery with the utmost in professionalism and craftsmanship. We so thoroughly enjoyed working with Vladimir and are so pleased with the finished result that we will be working with him again in the very near future on another project. Vladimir of Original Builders was the most professional and knowledgeable contractor we have worked with in a long time. Our total project had three very different parts to it, with one of them, a front walkway replacement, being very technically difficult (we thought), creatively challenging and requiring a great deal of patience with us. Vladimir met us twice at the supplier to first select the larger stone pieces in varying colors. After completing the tough task of removing the existing concrete front walkway, Vladimir and his crew was extremely patient taking our input cutting each larger piece stone to our preferred shapes and laying out these cut pieces to our preferred design. Their input to us was invaluable. It was a true team effort! The new walkway is literally one of a kind which we never could have achieved without Original Builders patience and willingness to uniquely create something very different from what you traditionally see. Vladimir also worked very close with us on the other two parts of this total project, window shutter replacement for the four windows in the front of the house and an “overhaul” of our well worn front door. Once again, what we appreciated the most was his encouragement of our input, determining everything from style to color to new hardware. It all looks fantastic.
