We called Galileo Construction to help us convert our basement workshop into a proper storage space and a designated home office area. Vince and his team worked closely with us to design the most sophisticated space all while respecting our budget. The work was done fast, efficiently and with lots of care and attention to detail. Communication was great and we were consulted regularly every step of the way. This is a super friendly family business, run with integrity and professionalism- I really can't recommend them enough!

In an era of reduced or non existent customer service Galileo Construction has proven to be a most welcomed exception. Fair pricing, superior material selections, emails and phone calls answered promptly, schedule respected, crews polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. In a word, workhorses. A very dated, very non-standard 1987 bathroom is morphed into a beautiful 2022 glass and tile luxury bathroom. We would recommend Galileo Construction for any project, big or small.

We are very pleased with our master bathroom that was recently completely renovated. Vince and Chantale were a pleasure to work with. They were very professional, attentive to our needs, gave us helpful advice and guidance through the process. The workmanship was impeccable. Two bathrooms completely gutted and renovated along with the replacement of a hot water tank. Excellent client service. I learned of them through a referral from a neighbor. Top quality workmanship with excellent materials used. Professional service. Provided a clear contract detailing work to be completed. Was very helpful advising me on design and choice of material. Hired first in 2017 for bathroom and 2 or 3 times afterwards for other smaller jobs.

This was our first home renovation project with Galileo and we were entirely satisfied with our choice. After meeting Vince and Chantal, we were confident that the general renovations would be done right and in good taste. Vince gave us excellent advice and made timely suggestions on how to realise the project without consulting a designer. His first class team of tradesmen were courteous and very professional and Chantal did some excellent work behind the scenes. The job went past schedule because of some additional work, but it was not a large inconvenience and we were able to stay in the house throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend Galileo, and will most certainly hire them in the future.

We have never done renovations before so this was a new experience for us. The process went really smoothly throughout...there was always good communication; Vince and Chantale were reachable at all times. I am particular with details and Vince was very accommodating and patient. I cannot say enough about Chantale and how amazing it is to have an in-house designer that is always available. She really tapped into our preferences and all the choices we ended up with for the kitchen were absolutely perfect. Definitely highly recommended.

I have worked with other contractors before on other home renovations and I would have to say my experience with Galileo was excellent. Attention to detail, high standards, budget-conscious, very responsive to the client's ideas and extremely personable - there is not much more you can ask for in a renovation experience . The house was lived in during the renovation which made the personable aspect even more important. They were very professional with design plans, contracts and billing and extremely helpful with interior design ideas. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this team.

When it came to hiring a contractor for our home renovation project, we wanted to avoid any possible reno related stressors. After our first meeting with Galileo we knew we were in good hands and we could trust them. Their quality of work and extensive experience would make our decision a relatively easy sign on the dotted line experience. As we moved along on this project, Galileo did a great job of keeping us informed on what was happening at every stage of the project. I had to renovate my bathroom fast in order to sell my condo, and Galileo did the job perfectly. Because I lacked time they made all the design decisions (from the color of the paint, the floorings ,to picking the new countertop...etc) and asked me each time before finaling if I was OK with what they chose. They also have a nice sense of detail that I didn't see when working with other contractors. (protecting the hardwood floor, replacing stop valves, making sure the bathroom stayed functional for use as much as possible)

Galileo performed a fantastic job for us. We were referred to them by our good friends and neighbours who were very satisfied with Galileo's work doing extensive renovations in their home. When we first started working together, our scope of work was to do a complicated brick replacement for one of three layers of brick on a very large and long wall at our house which is over 130 years old. Because of the bulge in that wall, we knew we also had to do complicated repairs to a section of the middle layer of the three layers of brick. As we quickly began to know Vince, Chantal, and their team, we became very comfortable with them and we decided to proceed with numerous other repairs and renovations which we had thought about doing for years since our last renovation. This included converting our old oil tank room into a beautiful China closet, supervising the replacement of about 60% of our windows in our house (those which had not yet been replaced since we purchased the house), painting the remaining windows and doors to match the colour we had chosen for the new windows, repairing and restoring a beautiful 130 year old metal gate separating my lane from my courtyard, and coming up with and installing a new gutter design to help me avoid some water ponding and freezing in my lane. I could go on further, but will stop here. Since we purchased our house in 1997, we have done six renovations. This is our first renovation using Galileo, and we were extremely pleased with their work. Whenever there was a decision to make, Vince gave us his recommendation and we talked things through and we came up with the best possible solution. Now that Galileo has completed our work, Galileo is now working for our other neighbours and they are also very happy with Galileo's work. If you're looking for a contractor who is very focused on quality and doing things right and whose owners personally care about everything they do and give all of their work a personal touch, we suggest you call Galileo.

We used Galileo Construction twice. Once 10 years ago for 2 bathrooms and 1000 sq ft of flooring tiles. Then again recently to re-tile one of the rooms after moving some fixtures. The quality of the workmanship was 5 star. In addition, being able to call back the original contractor 10 years later was a great plus. Highly recommended.

Last summer I engaged Galileo Construction to renovate my home, an apartment in an older building dating from the 1920's.This project's primary focus was on the full demolition and reconstruction of the kitchen and two bathrooms. However, the project was more extensive than that and involved improvements throughout the apartment. From the outset of what for me was a completely new experience, I felt reassured by the consummate professionalism and exceptional workmanship exhibited by the team at Galileo Construction. Having spent six months with them I would describe Galileo Construction as follows;they were thoughtful, scrupulous in their attention to detail and the execution of the work, keenly aware and respectful of my neighbours in the building, when their work entailed noise or the removal of debris, highly industrious and conscious of time. They are also passionate; They love what they do, and it shows in their beautiful work. One so often hears people complain about their renovations; this would not be my case.
