Excellent source for native plants. Their designers are very knowledgeable about how to landscape with natives. Communication could be better at times. Made sure we were happy and replaced plants that did not survive

I really wanted to change my 1996 yard to an environmentally friendly yard. The process was fun and really educational. They listened to all my wants and needs and created more than I imagined. Watching it come together was so fun. Locke was who I worked with mainly and really felt that he understood the project and has one a great job answering all my questions. I am so excited and proud of my new yard and cannot wait to see it in the Spring!

$1620 deposit made November 2, 2022. We have made numerous attempts to contact merchant (by phone and by email) about the status of the design which was supposed to be provided by April 2023, all contact attempts have been ignored.

The design team was very willing to adjust initial designs to better fit our vision. The installation team was top notch: efficient; took to the time to make sure it was done right; cleaned up when done and followed up. We also had Garden Environments do the maintenance after install. I can't speak highly enough of that. We had multiple previous companies that would do the minimum (rush in and rush out; need to be 'reminded' to complete certain tasks). Not so with Garden Environments. They take their time to see what needs to be addressed and they do it without having to be instructed. They tend to the landscape rather than just service it.

My project included hardscape, landscape and a water feature. The process began in March 2020 with an initial meeting with Sheldon and concluded with the final landscaping in November. The design created by Jennifer included everything I had asked for and much more. The stonework done by Luke and his crew is beautiful, the bluestone walkway is truly a work of art. Josh and his crew did a great job on the landscaping, plantings and fountain. As the project did not complete until very late in the season, we did not get the chance to enjoy it long before cold weather set in, but I am sure it will be spectacular when spring rolls around and all the hundreds of plants come back to life.

My wife and I are using Garden Environments for a complete overhaul of our landscaping. We selected Garden Environments based on screening several landscapers. We separated the work into two phases with the backyard done first. The backyard flagstone patio is a work of art, with each stone carefully chosen and sculpted to fit perfectly. The incorporation of existing features (ex. drainage ditch into a rock river bed) and native plants is exactly what we wanted. Estimates were accurate, and the attention to details shows in the final result. We look forward to completing the second phase!

Garden Environments transformed our backyard from a weedy, muddy mess into a beautiful outdoor living area. This was a biog project, with a new deck, stone steps and pea gravel paths traversing the entire area, new drainage to redirect water away from the house. Not to mention replacing the entire scraggly lawn with a beautiful mix of native sedges for a tough "no mow" lawn replacement that will stand up to our two dogs, adding multiple mixed wildflower beds, and planting the perimeter in deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs. From first discussions to design to installation, Garden Environments was great to work with. They were patient with our questions and suggestions, they addressed any concern we had immediately, and we are thrilled with the results. At our request, they did the hardscaping as one job, in the summer, and waited until cooler weather arrived in October to do the second" "planting" job. Sheldon and his team are great to work with: Irene, Josh and Volod know their stuff,. We've recommended them to friends and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

A wonderful experience! We had an ambitious project to expand a pre-existing patio and integrate in a custom firepit and to update landscaping requiring some very creative design work. The team at Garden Environments did a great job to create a beautiful reality from our vision and to create a design that seamlessly integrated the old and the new. The hardscaping team did a fantastic job building a complex design and providing opportunities for input and feedback every step along the way, and were just really fun to talk to as well. And the landscaping is perfect. Highly recommend a very professional and friendly team.

I had a great experience working with Sheldon and Jennifer. We are very pleased with our front yard design and about the stone pathway and granite edging they put in. Fantastic work! Highly recommend.

We used Garden Environments for a large project in our back yard. We worked with Jennifer who created a design that incorporated everything we wanted from the space. She worked patiently with us on all decision points and we’re very happy with the plan and how it turned out. Beyond design, GE built a deck and firewood enclosure; installed two stepping stone paths, a set of stone slab steps, a concrete pad and a Chapel Hill grit patio; and planted one large garden and two smaller plant beds with a nice mix of gorgeous native plants. At one point, we faced a drainage issue and they were very quick to help us find a solution and add it into the project. Throughout the project, I was impressed by their effort, efficiency and precision. They worked hard to complete our project (done in two phases) with as little disruption as possible and finished everything within a very reasonable timeframe. I would absolutely recommend working with GE for garden design and landscaping needs!
