We had a lovely experience working with the Gardner/Fox team. Everyone we worked with was both professional and friendly and made the entire process, from design, to construction, to completion, an enjoyable process. We are so pleased with our finished space, it has function, and style and warmth and people love gathering there! We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Very satisfied with new addition and kitchen overhaul project. Work done in timely fashion. Communication excellent. Design services utilizing 3D modelling very good. Clarity and accuracy of schedule, work progress, invoices, etc., extremely good. Quality of work very good. Extremely positive experience. This was large and complex project...and we've done many on property...and we were very satisfied with GF's attention to detail and execution. Would happily recommend them for a project.

I have lived in my home for 38 years and have done many projects/renovations, etc. GF is by far the BEST company I have ever dealt with. Their work is superior and the workmen are all very professional. Each professional was extremely knowledgeable about their area of expertise, completed their jobs in a timely manner, and aimed for perfection. There is a point person on site at all times and the project manager is available and responds to emails very quickly. I could not be happier with the work that was done and recommend this company without reservation.

Worst experience ever! I hired someone else to find out why I had continued problems with television and internet...see the picture of the shoddy workmanship found in the wall. Cost an extra $5000 to clean up the Gardner - Fox mess! No one from Grander Fox has returned a single phone call about this wiring issue to date!

We hired Gardner/Fox after finding them at a Home Show in KOP. We were planning on renovating an entire first floor and weren’t really sure where to begin. The whole staff was great to work with from the beginning until the end, specifically Bruce and Matt who were our designated go-to and answered all of our questions or concerns. We couldn’t have asked for a better group. They were with us and guided us through the entire process up to and including the design, prints, construction and finishing touches. Hiring GFA was absolutely the right choice for our project and made a would-be stressful gut renovation run so smoothly. We look forward to hopefully working with them again on another project in the future.

Following an extensive renovation of our old house by Gardner/Fox in 2013/2014, we contracted with them again in 2016 to help us build a barn on our property. Gardner/Fox has coordinated all aspects of this project seamlessly thus far. They have been knowledgeable about all aspects of the work from permits and inspections to sequencing of their excellent sub-contractors. We have been pleased with their commitment to our agreements and our Garner/Fox Project Manager has been outstanding in his responsiveness and overall professionalism. While the project is still in progress, we have every confidence that Gardner/Fox will complete it on time, on budget and much to our satisfaction.

This was our first home renovation and we chose Gardner/Fox because of their reputation in our area, the tremendous detail in their architectural plans for our new kitchen/family room space, and because we knew the final product would be outstanding. Being novices to the world of home renovation, we relied heavily on their expertise, and our expectations were 100% met. They were courteous, conscientious, addressed every detail and/or concern, kept us constantly in the loop, stayed on schedule, and were very easy to work with during the entire renovation. They were attentive, easily reachable, quick to respond, and made the whole process so much easier, especially since we headed into our renovation knowing it would take about 2 months. Scott and Robert ran our project and they were beyond incredible - we are so appreciative of all they did to make our new space so amazing! They were both so accommodating and listened to our questions and concerns and addressed every one. We are BEYOND thrilled with the final product - and it is outstanding, just like we expected. :) Highly recommend!

Perfection, exceptional service, best-in-class project management and flawless craftsmanship immediately come to mind when I think of our firstever experience with Gardner/Fox. We selected them based on their terrific reputation. They exceeded our expectations. Gardner/Fox acted as our architect, which went well, and as the general contractor, which was just OK. They excelled in coming up with a solution to a ceiling beam and a floor leveling problem but failed in leveling the ceiling causing kitchen cabinet issues. I don't think Gardner/fox ever reached out to the kitchen folks during the project. As the general contractor, I would think they should have. There were other more minor items, for example, the washer and dryer were moved to a new room but yet the old hookups still exist. Update: After I posted this review, Scott Kotcamp, our project manager from Gardner/Fox contacted me and we went over my concerns. I must say, we were thrilled to have Gardner/Fox respond right away and take care of correcting a detail that was not their responsibility. We had decided to engage a cabinet company independently of Gardner/Fox, but when faced with resolving an issue with the cabinets, the cabinet company could not. Scott took the time to review options and quickly developed a solution and took care of it. The work was completed right away and we are fully satisfied.

G/FA did a wonderful job on our rennovation and addition. First, the actual work was very well done, and G/FA follows through on each aspect of the work until it is completely finished. Second, G/FA is extremely professional from the design process through the last bill; everything in writing and agreed-upon in advance, no surprises on their end. Third, all the folks at G/FA we worked with were pleasant, friendly people--which in a multi-month project becomes an increasingly important factor. When you get the design and contract proposal from G/FA, you may think the price tag high (and you are free to shop their design around to other contractors for the build phase). And there are a lot of fish in the sea, so maybe your uncle's buddy could do the same job for less money. Who knows. But, among other things, what you get from G/FA--with all of their documenting, billing for work in place, warranty, etc.--is an essential elimination of risk. You'll sleep well at night, and the job will get done right. In this line of work, G/FA is as close to a sure thing as there is.
