My name is Dean Young, and I started Glass Design in 1985. I am a glass artist, and all my work is made by hand using very high standards. All my work is custom not massed produced. If you need privacy and light from your windows and doors, I can create designs that provide privacy and add to your interior design. My work ranges from small gifts to large architectural pieces including windows, partitions, doors, mirrors, backsplash and cabinets—from designing and creating architectural elements and geometric shapes to executing your artwork and logos. Background to the design process: 1. Decide on the design. If you have an idea for a design, I can create it for you. The most popular designs come from design elements that you already have in your home, such as wallpaper, tiles, pictures, wrought iron or wall hangings. If you want a design but you don't have one in mind, I have several designs you can pick from. 2. Decide how you want the design etched.
