Angel just finished painting our first floor and hallway. We have a lot of trim (wainscoting, crown molding, etc) plus stone work. He did an outstanding job-- he was careful to make sure everything was perfect. He also added on a few other small things (such as straightening an outlet and caulking some woodwork) without an extra charge. He was wonderful to work with andI have no doubt we will use him in the future. I highly recommend him!

Angel Castro, owner of Golden Hammer Builder, came highly recommended to me by an interior designer. I moved into a newly built home in October 2016, and I recently hired Mr. Castro to remove and replace a large patio door. It was an extremely difficult project that involved partial removal of interior and exterior framing. Angel Castro and his subcontractors did an excellent job. He and his team arrived in a timely manner, ensured that the areas adjoining the project were protected, and maintained a clean work area. I was so impressed with the quality of his work that I immediately hired him to do multiple projects, which he completed in a timely manner. I also hired him to do a major interior project in the near future. Angel Castro is a true professional and he maintains a high work ethic. He has an uncompromising commitment to performance excellence and customer service. I confidently recommend Golden Hammer Builder for quality work at fair and affordable prices.

I met Mr. Angel Castro some years ago when he was doing a large remodel project on a house located at St. Patrick's Seminary, Menlo Park. I was immediately impressed by him and his work. He was hired for other projects by the Archdiocese of San Francisco of which I am a part. The work he has done for my parish has all been perfectly executed, in excellent taste, and very efficiently. Mr. Castro follows the time-line he lays out for each project, always consults the client when there are questions regarding how something should be done, and (as he has also worked for other friends of mine) I can affirm that he leaves his clients very pleased with the work he does. That has been my experience. I would never fail to recommend Mr. Angel Castro to anyone seeking an excellent professional builder.

I've worked with Angel Castro and Golden Hammer for many years. Angel is professional and does excellent work. His team is prompt and courteous. They can do any time of construction, small and large jobs. I've seen them build an entire second home on my boss' property to painting, flooring, plumbing, etc. I definitely recommend Angel and his team.

I have worked with Goldenhammer Builder for over fourteen years on many complicated projects. One project even included the installation of an elevator in a three story Tudor. Angel Castro does the most creative and quality work . I don't think there is anything he can't do. He is honest, great integrity, fast, and gives an excellent value for a very good price. On every project where an inspector was required, he passed on first inspections. He is respectful of space he works in always. I highly recommend this phenomenal company. A Blanc Interior Design

Angel Castro was referred to me by a friend and I really appreciated the referral. He is very honest and his work quality is excellent. He was able to save me money on one of the jobs that he did for me because he discovered that part of a project could be salvaged without reducing the quality. He puts his client's best interest before his own. The only problem with Angel is that he is very much in demand. If he can do a job for you, you would be smart to grab him.
