Dan Morehouse started Hallmark in 1999 with the vision of “Building for Generations.” He saw a need for a builder that homeowners and investors could trust to build their homes with the same care and concern as he would build his own. TECHNOLOGY We use the latest technology available to ensure everyone is on the same page at all times. Each client has their own login to view their home building process online or through our smartphone app to stay up-to-date. However, no technology can take the place of human interaction. We are always a simple phone call away to answer any questions you may have. Some of our most enjoyable conversations with clients happen at your job site while we watch the framers put the roof on or the landscapers install a tree.

I bought a Hallmark Building Group home about a year ago and it's been a wonderful place to call home. My third-party home inspector made a point during highlight how well the home was built during the inspection and that sentiment has been echoed by many others throughout the year. The layout is "lives well" and feels larger than its actual square footage. And most importantly, when I did have a small issue with the home that was covered under the warranty, Hallmark (and Donelle in particular) was very easy to work with and promptly fixed the problem. They clearly care about the quality of their homes and stand by their word. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with my decision to build from Hallmark and would do so again in a heartbeat.

Our realtor connected us to Dan and his team at Hallmark about 6 months ago when they were about 50% complete with a new construction home. We had been looking for a new home diligently for quite some time. Immediately when we first saw the home we were blown away. His design, floor plan and structure were completely different than what you see with most new constructions in the area. All fixtures and finishes were very unique and we were amazed with their attention to detail, timeliness, and honesty. Having worked with home builders before on previous homes, Dan’s professionalism, knowledge and ease to work with are second to none. The home is absolutely beautiful and we hope to stay for a long time. If by chance we don’t, Dan will be our first call to build the next one. Would highly recommend Dan and the Hallmark team for anyone looking for a high end custom build in the Nashville area. 10/10 in all areas! Colby Robbins

My husband and I cannot recommend Dan and his team at Hallmark Building Group enough. Together they brought all our first time home builder worries to ease. He and his team walked us through every single step. From getting updates on the app, answering all questions in a timely manner, working within our budget... They always went above and beyond for us. We love our home and cannot imagine using any other builder. We live in Nashville and are consistently reminded by those building around us how blessed we were to use Hallmark Building Group and have a quality built home by a great team.

I was in the market buying a new home and Dan's home stood out in terms of quality, style, and details. It was prominent that the house is not a typical builder house. The house is a Cape Cod/Craftsman house where the attention to details of merging timeless features such as real gable roof, square tapered pillars, covered front & back porch, real hardwood floors in all of the rooms, window frame trimming, natural lighting, pine wood ceiling, gas range & fireplace, custom chef style kitchen, built-in shelving, and mudroom. The design and quality was very thought-out which is consistent to his detailed approach on other house projects. During the under contract stage, his team are very responsive on making corrections, ensuring you are satisfied, and delivering the best move-in home possible. As my family grows, I know I will be doing business again with Hallmark Building Group and get his high quality build in my future homes.

We hired Hallmark building group to built two modern houses in Green hills Nashville, which was not an easy task because I’m the home homer and the Architect, I’m very demanding and looking for every detail. Dan was patience all the way, tried to figure how to make my vision come to life and still stay on budget. He is a professional, reliable, easy to work with , always there for you with a smile and true passion for his work. They worked on every detail in the plans, and the outcome is amazing, we are very happy with our new house, and very happy with the way Dan worked with the buyers of the other house. We look forward to our next project with Hallmark.
