After qualifying from KLC, at the end of 2017, she set up Happybeams Interiors, on a mission to design calm, functional & long lasting spaces that make you feel those ‘happybeams’. Since 2017, Jess has worked with over a hundred clients to create homes that support their lifestyle & wellbeing. She has built up a team of trusted suppliers & trades, and has an extensive collection of samples! What I loved the most about working with Jess is how she perfectly combined the vision I had (by actively asking for pictures and what I liked) with her amazing style and taste. So pleased with the styling boards and how she helps turning them into reality giving us different options at different price ranges. Also, she always has brilliant ideas on how to make the most of a multi-functional room which I appreciate so much!

It was great working with Jess. She really unlocked the room for me and was so helpful, answering all my questions. I'd never worked with an interior designer before and had assumed that my project (just one room) might be too small, but she was very happy to meet my needs and budget. Her prices were reasonable and she had some really creative suggestions that I hadn't thought about before. Would 100% work with Jess again.

Having used Jess before I knew there was no one I would rather have working alongside me on a refurb of our much loved holiday home. The process and the end result have exceeded my expectations and that is down to Jess. Her eye for room layouts is excellent and led to us going with her “wildcard” option in the tv snug. We upgraded from an eDesign to a bespoke styling option and could not be happier. Jess is a delight to work with.

Jess did a great job of understanding my needs and taste - she didnt just do virtual sessions but also came out to see the room and do the measuring and helped me with finding tradespeople as well as finding me some great items.

Jess and Happybeams are an absolute delight to work with. She spends a lot of time listening to her clients to understand their needs, preferences, and style. She articulates it tangibly with loads of different examples to get a steer on whether she's interpreted the needs correctly. And happily finds additional options if it wasn't quite right. I really appreciated that she started in a budget friendly way, and we explore where/when the budget could flex up or down based on my preferences, the importance of the piece. She's also well networked so she had really good recommendations on folks that could help us with installation. Being new to the area that was really helpful. Most of all, she's a delightful person. Kind and thoughtful. (And has good taste!) Would certainly recommend.

We worked with Jess whilst renovating our 1920’s 5-bedroom property on the south coast. Due to the pandemic we liaised with Jess remotely and it is fair to say we have been recommending Jess to anyone who will listen to us ever since! There are two key things I would draw out. Firstly, Jess had the most fantastic understanding of the style we were looking for and designed every room (and I mean every room!) to an extremely high standard. Nothing was too must trouble and her design capability was top notch. Secondly, and perhaps of even greater importance when renovating, Jess was just the most lovely person to work with, reducing stress and making it fun to work with her. Extremely approachable and accommodating, delivering projects designs on time, every time. We hope to work with Jess again in the future.

Emma Boatman

Jess helped my husband and I with our bedroom and en-suite. We wanted to create a space of calm and tranquility with hotel indulgence - without the huge price tag. Jess came up with a wonderful colour palette and sourced all of our furniture, lighting, tiles etc so that all we had to do was simply purchase them. My husband doesn't have the vision of what things will look like when finished but with Jess' help of creating a vision board, he knew what to expect!

Jess Has been amazing and very patient with me! My time frame for the project moved a number of times but Jess has always been on hand and checked on progress throughout. She has even helped me source other options when I haven’t been able to purchase the original ones! The process itself was simple and effective and I loved then end designs. I’m so glad I chose to work with Jess on my bathroom remodel. Jess understood my vision and made it better than I could have imagined. Jess helped me determine layout, source products, and provided mood boards and renders. She was also very flexible when part way through I changed my mind on the scheme!
