House to Home (HtoH) did an excellent job in renovating our 1900sf apartment. Project management, including client communication, was first class. The work quality of their subcontractors was professional, especially the plastering and painting. Their costs were on the high side, but were justified by the valuable design suggestions, overall quality, and attention to detail.

The entire team was professional, helpful and communicated very well throughout the process and they finished the project ahead of schedule. We had (3) separate items (readjust interior doors - quickly handled); replace back screen door (they really assessed the situation and provided a great option) and update our family room (really really did great with this project with assisting in materials and ideas).

House to Home Solutions renovated my kitchen in a high-rise condo building updating everything from the flooring to the lighting. With a very open floor plan, I appreciated the designer’s help in coordinating the colors and style with the adjacent living room. Getting the expert advice of an appliance specialist to pick appliances and other fixtures (sink, faucet, pulls, lighting) was also very valuable. The construction crew took care of everything including scheduling the delivery of the appliances and reserving the loading dock as needed with building management. In the end, I am very happy with my new kitchen.

We worked with House to Home to expand and redesign the first floor of our house, including a kitchen remodel, and the creation of a new great room and an in-law suite with a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room, along with a new screen porch. After searching for the right company. I was lucky enough to meet one of House to Home Solutions Designers. I set up an appointment and loved the process they presented. They listened to me and asked lots of questions to make sure they understood what I wanted and needed. They were able to show me a 3D rendering of what it would all look like. Amazing technology. They presented me with a couple of designs and we tweaked one to fit my wants, needs and budget. Everything was ordered and when everything was ready, they started. They kept me informed with lots of communication and pictures throughout the process. They found solutions for issues along the way and kept me in the loop. Their craftsmanship was outstanding or they themselves had it redone to make sure it met their standards and mine without question. They completely gutted by bathroom, putting in new plumbing, electrical, steam shower, lighting, cabinetry, and lots of detailed tile. I couldn’t be happier with my finished bathroom. Every time I walk into my bathroom, I sigh with happiness. I would highly recommend them for any design-based project.

My wife and I found House to Home Solutions in the summer of 2020 after we contacted several other home improvement companies about our planned construction of a deck and porch and they failed to follow through, possibly because of the pandemic. Daniel patiently worked with us in person, by Zoom, by phone, and by email to help us make all the necessary design, material, and color decisions. After obtaining all necessary county and HOA approvals, my wife died. I asked Daniel to scale back the project to just the deck. He immediately agreed and helped me revise the plans and reobtain necessary approvals. A project manager, Matthew Kanne, supervised and stayed in regular communication with me while crews quickly demolished the old deck and constructed a new one. HtoH also made several other repairs and replacements around the exterior of the house. They were highly professional throughout and reasonable on cost. We had been planning to remodel our almost 50-year old kitchen for about 10 years when we started to contact companies. House to Home Solutions was one of three companies that we reached out to. We chose to go with House to Home Solutions, not because they they quoted us the lowest amount, but because their quote was the most realistic. Be weary of companies that quote you an amount that's "too good to be true". Another decisive factor for us was how overwhelmingly positive all their reviews were. I needed to modernize the bathroom in my ~50 y.o. home. After several visits by contractors, I chose Daniel and House to Home Solutions to do a complete remodel. They removed the tub and replaced it with a walk in shower, removed all the old tile and plaster, cabinetry, sink, and fixtures. They remodeled with new tile on the floor and in the shower, new shower fixtures and glass door, new cabinetry, new lighting fixtures, sink. They moved the air vent, and installed new lights over the shower, a shower niche, an exhaust/vent, and added a huge built-in medicine cabinet. I was able to work with Daniel and hiss awesome design staff to find a high quality materials, fixtures and lighting in a beautiful color combination that makes this the nicest room in the house now. The work was done on time and on budget, and in a totally professional manner. The only problem i experienced was some damage to my hardwood floors that was quickly and completely repaired. I would definitely use House to Home Solutions again.

Daniel and his team totally renovated our bathroom. They transformed the shower into a closet and replaced the large jacuzzi tub with a shower and smaller Japanese style soaking tub. They also replaced the vanity and installed tile. The team did a great job; I could not have asked for more. The communication before work started was excellent; no surprises. Daniel provided us with a design expert who helped plan the space and select the tile and fixtures. One great thing was that the expert worked with us to really make our vision come true (but in a much better way than we could have done ourselves). The construction crew was efficient and respectful of our home. They completed the project on-time and on budget without any drama. After the project was complete, Daniel's team did a walk-through and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The end product was great; exactly what we wanted and even better than I imagined. It was a pleasure to have worked with H2H earlier this year to replace our master bedroom flooring that had very bad cat urine stains (courtesy of our previous home owner) and our garage door and opener. They did a good job and even came back and fixed things when we informed them that some things were still not too right. I would definitely work with them again. By the way, we are repeat customers--worked with them in 2015 to replace the carpeting on our stairs, bathroom flooring and toilets. They did a great job then too.

Our kitchen was AWFUL! Broken dishwasher; tight spaces; sagging laminate countertops; and cheap vinyl tile........ We had a very limited budget and House to Home Solutions worked with us to greatly improve the look and function of the kitchen. Staff was wonderful to work with. Will definitely use them again!

We hired HHS to renovate one of our main bathrooms. The job involved gutting the old bathroom completely and producing a vastly upgraded one. HHS delivered this beyond expectation. It was on budget and within the agreed timeline. All while displaying an impressive professionalism from management to the team that carried our the work on site. Daniel, the manager, led us through the planning of the job with great patience, ability to listen to us, and with the help of his assistant giving us excellent advice on choices of material and bathroom installations. The friendly and courteous team on site worked with diligence and skills and without days of interruptions during the time period agreed. If we had any questions regarding the work as it progressed, Daniel or his assistant would promptly return our emails or telephone calls. Never were we left waiting for advise or action. If we expressed concern about some aspect of the work, Daniel would see to that corrective action was taken without delay. The quality of the end product was superb and our satisfaction complete. In summary, during our 50 years of home ownership we cannot recall having dealt with any contractor that so focuses on costumer interests and satisfaction, timely delivery of work, and technical excellence.

We selected Daniel’s company to redo a very old and very small bathroom. The quality of the workmanship is top notch. The day they installed the tile and before they grouted, I examined the spacing between the tiles, the Schluter, and the tile surfaces, and I was very happy with the work. In addition, they showed up on time and worked all day. They showed a lot of respect for our house; keeping the work area and access path clean and orderly. When an issue came up with the vanity, House-to-Home worked the issue and resolved it as quickly as they could. They addressed the punch list very quickly and completely. I was bad luck with kitchen sink's pipe busted out while whole family went out for vacation last July 4th weekend, 2015. It was a disaster flooding including kitchen and half furnished basement. Since I have no experience with any contractor and heard lots of dark side story of contractors, I asked my brother-in-law, KC, who is an architect to recommend a credible one. Tony and his team was recommended while they all work for HHS (Daniel is the owner). Since my wife wants to use this opportunity to upgrade the kitchen, Daniel provided valuable suggestions, arranged several good qualified suppliers for product comparison, planned material delivery for precise installation tight schedule. In addition, Daniel was very professional to provide all detail info to assist me while I was fighting with insurance company for fair loss claim. Tony and his team were experts for kitchen and basement renovation. They are friendly and very professional. Give an example of the floor tile installation, they found out the size of tile were inconsistent after 2/3 area paved, Tony's team insisted to replace the tiles with the right size for the quality and their reputation which My wife and myself were very impressive. Tony's team also fix some very minor glitch around kitchen and basement without any additional expense to us (They really understood customer's happiness is always the first priority). I needed particularly mention Daniel's special assistant, Jessica Saunders. I never met her but she always provided her service so well thru email communication. She kept her promise and helped us got credit back from tile company. Now finally my wife has her dream kitchen and I had my basement back. Overall this is a great team I ever experienced and enjoyed to work with. I strongly recommend this team to any house holder who like to have their house's renovation with a successful story. By coincidence, I read Montgomery county's best contractor booklet of 2015 recently and noticed HHS was picked among top three recommended by the county. Guess I really selected the right one after all.

We have never had a contractor as professional, conscientious, expert and thorough as Daniel Carrero and his staff. They do first class work and any remaining punch list items are done promptly, cheerfully and completely, whether or not you've made your final payment. We hired House to Home to handle a family room reno that consisted of replacing four windows, framing for a new gas fireplace, installing a tile hearth and fireplace surround, and installing a wooden fireplace surround. Our gas fireplace installer recommended House to Home Solutions to us as a contractor he had worked with before and had good experiences with. We were extremely pleased with the work House to Home did for us. They were very professional, had good ideas, and were extremely responsive. They even made recommendations for tile and windows that saved us lots of money! The quality of work is top-notch (and we are very picky). They also are just very nice to work with. We hired House to Home Solutions for our home restoration after a horrible experience with another contractor. We highly recommend them. Daniel, the owner, was punctual, personable, and very transparent. His project manager Pat and crew chief Erick were amazing and went above and beyond to make us happy during a pretty tough time (our back wall on all floors were torn down due to water damage). Their crew, was quick, efficient, and had displayed excellent craftsmanship and high quality results. If there is one negative, it would be that they did such a good job, that it made the imperfections in the rest of the house, that were outside the scope of the project, very noticeable. While, House to Home Solution estimate can be slightly higher than other contractors, you definitely get what you pay for - they do it right. You can't go wrong with this contractor. I don't foresee us using a different every again.

I liked everything about working with Daniel, Tony and Jose and the rest of the crew.They were prompt, attended to even the smallest details, offered suggestions, made recommendations and managed unexpected problems with ease. I needed repair work done in my kitchen and garage to due to a water leak. As part of the repair, I also decided to upgrade the kitchen flooring and lighting. Daniel was very helpful in providing suggestions and answering any questions I had regarding the work to be done. Had a kitchen/living/dining room reno from Daniel, Tony, and the folks at House to home and we couldn't be more pleased. They did a variety of work including plumbing/natural gas work, re-framing walls, installing engineered wood floors and appliances, electrical and lighting, and cabinetry. So yeah, just about everything. Daniel took the time to really understand what we were trying to accomplish and didn't pad his estimate in an effort to undercut competition. We recognized almost immediately that he really got our vision and helped us see it through, suggesting materials or products that could get us where we wanted to be with price and with quality/style. Tony and his crew did the work professionally and quickly, finishing the job just a bit faster than estimated despite some inevitable but thankfully minor curveballs our house threw. The guys at House to Home took our half 1950s and half 1990s space and turned it into a modern, warm, bright space we can entertain in with pride.

House to Home redid 5 bathrooms, a master suite closet, laundry room, front and rear doors, and a major "honey do" list of improvements for us. The owner, Daniel, is very easy to work with and has great ideas and feedback. His foreman, Jose, was fabulous. I even offered to redo a room so he could live here! The crew showed up EVERY DAY at 8:00 am and stayed until the day's work was finished, no matter how late. Their prices were comparable to other quotes I received. The work they did was top notch, and they made sure we were happy with the results. I would recommend them with no hesitation.

House to Home Solutions did a phenomenal job remodeling our kitchen, dining room, bath room, ceiling and walls as the result of a water leak. They were very through all the way through; inspecting and repairing all plumbing issues, and had new sheet rock up on the walls in no time. The house was rewired, pot lights put in and paint was on the walls in just a few days. The crew worked very quickly and cleaned up everything as they went along, inside and outside of the house. In January, 2015. The House to Home Solutions renovated and enlarged our Master Suite Bathroom Shower. The job was finished within the estimated time. Both their professionalism and workmanship was greatly appreciated. In March, 2015. The House to Home Solutions also worked on our Patio Door. Again, their workmanship was super.

I hired House to Home to finish my basement in August of 2014. They were completely professional from the very beginning. I contacted 14 contractors for my project before deciding on House to Home. They always returned emails and phone calls, showed up when they said they would and listened to everything I said. Daniel (the president) was also great about really hearing my concerns and coming up with solutions to fix them. For instance, we initially wanted tile on the floor since we needed something waterproof. However, I was also concerned about how cold it would be in the winter. Daniel suggested a different type of flooring that would both insulate and be waterproof. We found that once hired, everyone on the team was friendly and capable and if there were any issues, they were fixed promptly and correctly. Even though the project has been finished, when our basement flooded (see why I needed the floor to be waterproof!) I sent Daniel an email question about the floor and he still responded quickly. I highly recommend them and will certainly use them for any other construction project I undertake.

House to Home Solutions is your one stop shop. For me, they have repaired my drywall, installed a new fireplace, resided my whole house, and laid new bamboo flooring. I have loved all the work they have done for me. The job is not done until I was completely satisfied.
