We recently hired A&E Fine Woodworking to create a large custom cabinet for a client's home office. We brought a conceptual dimension drawing to A&E, and they were able to create our vision down to the smallest detail. The cabinet included file drawers, small storage drawers, adjustable shelves, metal accents, and a removable TV-mount panel. The team at A&E guided us in the selection of wood species, as well as functional drawer hardware. They sent me updates and photos as the construction of the cabinet progressed. Upon installation, a storage drawer needed adjusting and a couple of locks on the file drawers were not operating smoothly. The A&E team visited the client's home without hesitation, and quickly addressed those small issues. Needless to say, the clients were as pleased with this service as they were with the quality of the heirloom piece they purchased. Most of the pieces we saw in the A&E portfolio were traditional in style, but this cabinet was very contemporary by comparison. Any concerns we may have had about their ability to create a contemporary piece quickly vanished as we worked with them. We truly believe that they can create any piece you could dream up! As interior designers, we work with custom craftsman on a regular basis, and we can confidently say that the staff at A&E is among the best out there!

I have enjoyed Steve Anthony's work for over 30 years. He is a master craftsman and the quality of his work is amazing. Each of his pieces deserve to become heirlooms.

We recently moved to Denver from San Francisco with a 93 inch dining table we dearly loved and have had over the years many wonderful family dinners and memories. Our little 1915 bungalow was not going to accommodate our table and after looking weeks for a new replacement my husband and I just couldn't find anything we loved as much as our table. I made a few calls and after several declines (mostly lack of interest) I came across A&E Fine Woodworking. I explained as I did to the others our desire to keep our table and did they think it would be possible to reconstruct our table to fit our small space. They actually listened and said they would like to come look at your piece. Joshua came to our home on a snowy day and carefully looked at our table and said he could reduce the size of the table without losing the structure or integrity. I was over the moon! He came back with his truck to pick up the table and in about two weeks we had a beautiful "mini" version of our table. But wait there is more!! The gentleman that did most of the work on the table took all the extra pieces from the table and made us a little bench. Now that is classy not to mention the kindest thing we have even experienced from any business we have worked with. I have a mid century coffee table that needs some TLC and I plan to have Joshua and his talented team work on it as well. We can't say enough about A&E Fine Woodworking.
