Tammy did an amazing job helping to design my kitchen/living room space, once I realized it was too big of a project to do on my own. She was attentive to what I wanted to achieve, and it came out perfect.

In the past year we have worked with Tammy on 2 projects. A complete renovation of our main level, and then a sports themed media room. We are thrilled with the results of both projects. Tammy is extremely professional, and what I admire is that she listens to the clients and will not try to force something on you that you don't really like. Tammy has impeccable taste, and we have received compliments from everyone visiting our house. I have no hesitation in recommending Tammy for any home improvement projects. We will be using here again in future.

I can't speak highly enough about Tammy. She helped design and was contractor for a bathroom renovation. She was always on top of every detail, remembered my preferences, respected my budget, and gave me plenty of options. She had great relationships with various vendors and installers, which made a difference. We're thrilled with how it turned out and I've recommended her to friends and would use her again.

I have worked with Tammy Kaplan on interior design projects in my home since 2001 and I have been happy with all my selections. I originally thought I couldn't afford a designer, but I found that Tammy was able to work with my limited budget when I first began decorating my home. I found it worthwhile to hire her in the long run as well because I didn't make mistakes that I had to redo a year later. The items I have purchased have held up well and fit my spaces perfectly. Tammy was also able to take areas of my home that we never used and transform them into spaces that we use every day. My most recent project with Tammy was a remodel of my kitchen. I am so happy with the results. As someone who cooks and entertains regularly, the space is extremely functional. At the same time, the materials Tammy helped me select are truly beautiful and unique and reflect my decorating style. I will continue to work with Tammy on future projects in my home.

Tammy helped us turn our Sandy-damaged shore home into new again. We had so many decisions to make and Tammy helped us make so many of them from paint color to fabric to lay-out etc. It was such a relief to have Tammy's assistance. Tammy has an eye for color as well as connecting color from room to room. Also, Tammy has an eye for detail - knowing exactly where outlets should be placed and locations for fixtures. My house turned out so beautiful. I would highly recommend Tammy to others!

In the summer of 2013, I hired Tammy Kaplan to renovate the kitchen in our 1940's colonial residence. This job included breaking down the wall between the dining room and kitchen, replacing an outside wall in order to reconfigure the windows and completely recreate the space. The half bath adjacent to the kitchen was also updated. From the onset, Tammy's professionalism, experience and commitment won us over. She educated us about the process and guided us throughout. Tammy presented us with several design concepts and made adjustments when requested. She also assumed the role of contractor, coordinating projects, deliveries and time schedules and introducing us to a team of cabinet makers, electricians, plumbers, painters and builders who were trusted and respected professionals. The entire team worked together, dealing with unexpected bursting pipes and wiring problems while staying on schedule. Tammy's commitment to overseeing the project also allowed us to continue working without interruption. This was a huge bonus. The process was especially challenging for me in that this was our first time using a designer. Making decisions from selecting tiles, counter tops, lighting, appliances, furniture and colors was overwhelming. When I needed time to mull things over, Tammy did her best to accommodate, taking me back to places for a second or third look. I especially appreciated how Tammy also reviewed her own decisions, reworking colors or designs when she felt things weren't exactly right. At one point, a sink was selected based on a photograph and precise dimensions when we were unable to see a true sample. When the fixture was installed, it didn't work. Tammy assumed the financial responsibility and made sure to find one that would work. On another occasion, when a dining room light fixture arrived and was installed, she saw that the balance was off. Without even telling me, she had the fixture replaced. This kind of commitment, diligence and willingness to re-evaluate certainly helped me appreciate Tammy's open mind, flexibility and determination to "get it right." The outcome was spectacular. The space is now my favorite in the house and the the compliments keep coming. The space works for large parties or intimate quiet dinners and the kitchen design has increased our joy of cooking with ease as opposed to the tedious work of finding enough counter space and storage to make a meal. While the design price seemed high to me, at the end of the day, the outcome has completely transformed our appreciation of our home and saved us from the more expensive option of moving. Tammy has a wonderful ability to envision space, focusing on light, color, flow and utility while attending to the clients' individual preferences. Thank you Tammy.

Four and a half years ago, we decided to redo the decor of our house. Tammy Kaplan came highly recommended from several sources so we asked her to assess and plan with us. Tammy guided us expertly through the repainting and reflooring of all of our rooms as well as the refurnishing of several rooms. Her ideas were golden, and the workmanship of those she hired to implement the plans was excellent. We now live in a "different" house, one that gives us continuing pleasure and has garnered many complements from visitors.

We hired Images in Design to renovate a master bathroom for accessibility. IID was attentive to our needs and budget, creative, skilled in project management and allied with high quality skilled craftsmen who executed the plan under IID supervision. Tammy managed 3 bathroom renovations for us over the course of a year including a 1st floor aging-in-place powder room with shower. The contracting team she worked with was first rate and she stayed on top of the projects throughout, sometimes coming daily to manage decisions as they arose. I enjoyed being part of the decision-making and shopping process, although I think that could be as hands-on or hands-off as you preferred. She was also adept at managing different budgets--keeping down the costs where requested and appropriate without compromising the end product.
