Their drawings were well detailed so we could envision the end product and easily refine our requirements early in the process. I have worked with Patricia and Santi for several years. Our first project encompassed an open concept kitchen and two bathrooms in a contemporary cabin on Pender Island. The end result was beautiful and creative, and Santi was very accommodating with my many requests for customization and advice. They also helped source countertops and pulls since it was an awkward project being on an island! We have also collaborated on several projects since then and all of my clients are extremely happy with with their cabinets. I think their aluminum product is so innovative and practical, and wonderful because it is different and unexpected. Best of all they are two of the most lovely, creative and service oriented people I have worked with.

We hired Santi to build weather-proof cabinetry for an outdoor BBQ in a modern beach-front home. He was able to match the paint colour we requested and make the cabinets fit perfectly to accommodate plumbing and gas fittings. They have been in place now for over a year and still look new. We were so pleased that we then hired him to build cabinets for a bar area and bathroom. These spaces were very unique, unconventional shapes, and again the cabinets fit perfectly. In conversation it also came up that we were looking for ideas to add bug screens to our commercial-style windows. Santi came up with a great solution, and provided screens for all the windows in the house.

After a relatively exhaustive search for the type (aluminum) and style (sleek, crisp lines and totally functional) of kitchen cabinets that we were looking for, we were pleasantly surprised to find them pretty much in our own back yard. Initially, the IM Design website was a little less than user friendly, however, a few one-on-one calls with Patricia quickly resolved any issues there. She was nothing but helpful and accomodating throughout the entire process. We sent our contractor to inspect a kitchen installation IM Design had recently completed and, when he came back with glowing reviews, we knew we had found the right company and were ready to proceed. Patricia and Santi worked with our crazy schedule and made a special trip to Vancouver to meet with our contractor, our designer (and with us). They seemed to sense almost immediately what we were looking for and came up with several suggestions and ideas that did nothing but improve the design and the process generally. Santi worked closely with our contractor, which meant the entire process was seamless from our perspective. The cabinets were delivered and installed on time and on budget. They are pretty much exactly what we wanted, they look great and meet all of our needs. Santi was also able to assist with backsplashes, shelving and closet doors, which we didn't expect in the first instance, but which we gratefully accepted. We have had nothing but compliments about our new cabinets. And the one time there was a minor issue with some hinges, Sanit was on our doorstep almost immediately and made the adjustments without and fuss. IM Design was not, by any stretch, the cheapest alternative that we had for new kitchen cabinets. But good quality seldom is. We know that the cabinets will easily last for as long as we want them and, because the design has a "timeless" sense about it, they will always look great. If / when we ever decide to sell, I have no doubt that the cabinets will be a selling feature. And if we ever decided to do another kitchen renovation, we would happily contract with IM Design.

Working with Santi and Patricia was a pleasure -- they are professional, enthusiastic, prompt as well as clear in what they can do and for what price. (I only wish I had brought them in earlier when we decided to renovate our bathroom -- they have design knowledge that we certainly could have made use of.) We have lived with the cabinetry for three years now and are very happy with how easy it is to maintain (simply wipe it with a damp cloth) and how smart it looks. It will maintain its modern appeal as long as we are in this house -- European good looks!

WE worked with Innovative Modern Design, when we were transitioning our weekend get-away to our full-time retirement home. Our dream had been that one day we would retire from our jobs, and live full-time on Pender Island, BC. We wanted to upgrade our kitchen, and called upon Innovative Modern Design to visit our home, and come up with ideas for us. The end result was a huge surprise and a welcomed one from this young professional couple who brought their ideas and state of the art drawings of possible outcomes. Our new kitchen was completed on time, in budget, and with a guarantee of satisfaction. This company is unique, affordable, and highly skilled offering a unique product that is strong and eye pleasing.

IMdesign gave me a free consultation and estimate. I had a few ideas of my own. It was amazing that Santi knew just what to do to make my perfect kitchen. Custom design is so much better everthing fits beautifuly. I love the quality and clean indestructable aluminum,and the clever ideas for the use of all the space. We love our kitchen!! The price is close to any other ready built without haveing the hassel of doing the work!

Patricia and Santi provided us with excellent service, including helping us with the design which turned out to meet our needs very well. The cabinets were made in a timely manner and the installation was professional and done with great care and attention to detail. When we requested backsplashes that were not part of the original order we were accommodated quickly and well. We have had the new kitchen for almost two years and we are extremely happy with it. It is beautiful - the brick red colour we chose and the cabinets are excellent quality and work very well. They are easy to clean and look perfect after almost two years. We enjoy cooking together and prepare food from scratch almost every evening. The kitchen functions exceptionally well for us. In conclusion: We couldn't be happier with it.

Innovative Modern Design offers a unique product - cabinetry that is made of alluminum rather than particle board or other wood based or plastic based materials. The results was a unique kitchen that was modern, timeless, durable, and did not present any off-gassing to taint the customers' food or wine glasses. I was most impressed by the fact that they take personal pride in their product and the service they offered and this is evident through their detailed measurements and meticulous work. I got exactly what I was expecting. As we fine-tuned any final deficiencies, they were more than happy to ensure their product was performing beyond the client expectations, and were quick to respond with any final fine-tunings. I would recommend this company, not only for their product, but also for their service.
