Edwin Peake, Owner of Edwin's Glorious Gardens Etc., has been in the gardening business for over 20 years with early training and experience working for highly regarded horticulturalists, landscape architects, and gardeners from the Chestnut Hill and Main Line area. With an artistic eye for color, texture, and size, and a knowledge base of plant growth and behavior, gardens are not only beautiful, but they are well thought-out. Edwin works throughout the year to maintain the gardens at their optimal health, keeping them as vibrant as possible. Edwin's Glorious Gardens etc. is an individually owned business. Edwin and his team were great. They knocked out my front and backyard in less than 5 hours with high quality work. He is busy, busy in the Spring, so get on the books early (probably like Feb or early March). But once a date was committed, showed up on time and got the work done well and fast, with high quality. The cost was also great and fair, compared to two other quotes. He is responsive to email, text and phone calls (leaving messages) and/or picked up his phone most times.

Edwin developed a beautiful landscape plan after listening to my concerns and desires to fit within a budget. He suggested ideas and discussed options that I never would have considered on my own that makes my life easier. He is extremely creative, honest, and has extensive professional knowledge. He finished the project on time and within the allotted budget. His crew was courteous and left the area clean at the end of each day. I highly recommend him and will use his services in the future as I am extremely pleased with the outcome of this project.

Edwin and his crew have been doing beautiful work at my restaurant and home for years. The garden is a real draw for customers and the perfect back drop for weddings and other events. He knows how to keep the garden interesting through out the seasons.

Edwin planned our garden 8 or 9 years ago and it has matured beautifully! It was chosen for our local garden tour due to the beautiful design and variety of interesting plants. recently he walked around the garden with me for 1 hour in the freezing cold as I took notes on how/when/why to prune and care for each of the plants. He is a lovely person and a font of knowledge!

For more than 10 years, Edwin and his team have been helping me with small stuff while I patiently restored and old house in Chestnut Hill with a horrible front garden. This past fall, I took the plunge and asked Edwin for his help restoring the front garden into something truly glorious. The project was completed on budget and on time. Edwin and his team were with me every step of the way and I can't tell you how pleased we are with the outcome. I live on a well-walked street and I can't tell you how many compliments we get from neighbors about how beautiful our landscaping is. I have Edwin to thank for my glorious garden and can't recommend him enough.

Edwin's Glorious Gardens designed and worked in our back yard as well as along the side and front of our home. We found Edwin's work to be thoughtful, creative and professional. He consulted to understand our needs, helped to put our ideas into an actual do-able plan and executed well. He was careful to red flag budget changes in plenty of time and allowed us to make decisions accordingly. We would happily work with EGG again in the future and recommend them to others.

Edwin and his team set the bar extremely high for city backyards. We had previously received a design plan and quote from two other design and build landscape architects and contractors. Edwin came under those estimates AND provided enhanced design plans and material. We could not be happier with the work, adherence to the timeline, and budget. Our backyard is now truly an extension of our home and we spend countless hours entertaining and playing out there.

For the past seven years, Edwin has been gradually transforming our property into "glorious gardens." The first project with Edwin helped divert water away from our home which was a serious problem for years. Working with Edwin is a delight! He is knowledgeable, extremely creative and reasonable.
