We first worked with J&J when we were looking to have a skylight installed in an existing bathroom. We liked that Erik came out and reviewed the space in person and made recommendations as to size and location (another contractor actually gave us an estimate without even looking at the space!). We were comfortable with the J&J quote and went ahead to schedule the work. Several weeks later we had a spring hail storm that moved through the area. We ended up needing to have our roof replaced and our insurance company gave us the ok to work with whomever we liked. In addition to having J&J quote the roof, we had at least one other contractor quote it (a group that had done work in our area). A third contractor we had worked with in the past wasn’t even able to come out to look at it for 6-8 weeks. We ended up going with J&J for the roof work because 1) we liked how Erik presented their approach and explained the process and 2) they were best suited to coordinate the skylight install at the same time and keep us on track with that work. Dave the project manager then got involved, came onsite to review things, kept us informed of the schedule/timing of when materials/crew were going to show up, etc. It was, admittedly, a messy project (first full tear-off for a 100+ year old house). The crew worked late the first night and we honestly weren’t happy with some mess left behind in the dark. Dave addressed our concerns right away and things went very smoothly after that. We’re happy with the work and subsequent follow-ups. Should be have other projects, we would definitely engage the J&J team again.

We used J&J Contractors to replace our entire front door and surround and do some other rotten wood replacement. They did an awesome job. Evan and Tony were so easy to work with. Very communicative throughout the entire process. Tony made sure everything was done to the highest quality standards. Something was missed and he even came out on his own time to correct! I cannot thank them enough for the great job and quality work. I would highly recommend and will use them again and again.

J&J replaced our aging roof shingles, rain gutters, and down spouts. The new materials and professional work have refreshed the exterior of our home. Dave, our project manager, was wonderful to work with! Dave is organized and very good at coordinating the materials and tradesmen. J&J did a fantastic job on our house!

Seeing what an amazing job Jason’s team did on Brian’s exterior we knew they were the right fit for us too. What a beautiful transformation the 16 windows and patio door made. We had a new roof and gutters installed on our home. They kept us informed on the schedule and did a great job. We've used them for our basement remodel as well and have been very happy with their work.

We have used J&J for four different remodeling projects. The most recent was for a Velux skylight installation. Once again they did a great job. I have recommended them to many friends.

Without a doubt J&J Contractors exceeded our expectations for our basement remodel. We had evaluated a number of contractors and from the start had tremendous confidence in their ability to deliver. Kelly provided amazing design and selections guidance while Josh our project manager ensured that the blueprints and 3D renderings came to life just as we imagined. J&J did a major interior renovation on my home and we are very satisfied with the finished product. Kitchen Floor Project exceeded my expectations! We had done a complete kitchen/laundry room remodel approximately 10 years ago, with another reputable home remodeling company. Unfortunately, the ceramic tile flooring we selected, fell short of our expectations. We were willing to incur the expense of a new wood floor, however, were concerned about the ceramic tile demolition process and possible damage to cabinets and the adjacent hallway tile flooring. I initially contacted flooring companies; however, they did not want to be responsible for moving the appliances, replacing the base boards and shoe moldings; nor could they assure me that the project could be done, without incurring damage and possible additional expenses from the demolition process. I decided my best bet would be a home building/remodeling company. I researched the internet, particularly focusing on local, family owned businesses. I contacted J&J Contractors, based on numerous, positive internet reviews. Owner Jason came to our home to discuss the project. He was responsive to all of my questions and concerns and I was impressed with his confidence and professional knowledge and expertise. The project was scheduled, at my convenience and completed within the scheduled time frame and within projected cost expectations. Communications with project manager Adam J were on a timely basis; I always knew what to expect. Jason and Adam both emphasized their longstanding relationship and trust with sub-contractor Andy. It was apparent from start to finish, that trust was well deserved. He and his two-man crew, Jake and Steven, were friendly, professional, efficient, punctual. Their expertise is much appreciated. We are thrilled with our new flooring! We would consider J&J Contractors for any future home projects and would refer the company to others, without reservations.

All of our projects have been handled professionally. We've had them do the roof, sunroom windows, remodeled the main bathroom and kitchen as well as the floors. Latest project was a complete kitchen remodel. Their workers are hard working, professional and handled all the little details. Enjoyed working with all of them. Adam J. was project manager on 2 of our projects and he made sure to notify us when people were scheduled and time arriving. Great to work with him.
