Crosby’s Creations was awesome to work with! I engaged Jodi based on my GC’s recommendation and boy was he right! Great communication, turn around times and reasonable cost. Had a great initial convo with Jodi, after which Jessica and Toni came out to measure and discuss my project in further detail. We were renovating first floor to include removing walls and adding beams, moving location of a bath and closet, adding on to the laundry room and adding a screened porch. They worked closely with the steel manufacture to align the design with the structural requirements. We are located out of state which required us to do everything virtually. I had never been through the process of designing a home. Jodi made me feel confident from our first meeting. Hello, If you are planning on designing a new home as we did, or remodeling, you need to go no further than choosing Crosby Creations. Jodi is creative, competent, professional and cost effective. She is able to interpret your ideas of your new home into plans on her computer so you may see it come to life and make changes throughout the process. We found the drive to Jodi's to be a pleasant trip and enjoyed our meetings together. Jodi was responsive to phone calls, emails and text messages. Jodi has a great list of contacts from surveyors, soil testing, structural engineers, landscape architects and interior designers. We have built 7 other homes and put Crosby Creations on the top of the list for home design. Jodi took a small 1930’s beach cottage and created a wonderful space for 12+ family and friends. She walked the space, noted our construction and space challenges, listened to our hopes and needs in the space. Jodi created a design that fit all of those parameters. Jodi Crosby did an outstanding job in taking my rough sketch of our envisioned house plan consisting of a single floor 2053 square foot and turned it into the exact blue prints we were expecting. We engaged Jody for a project in Folly Beach South Carolina just outside of Charleston in 2016. We purchased a Parcel of beautiful land on the waterfront to construct a four bedroom house in a mother daughter layout with two separate entrances. It was quite a complex project which required much editing and modifications as we developed our final layout . Jodi was not only very professional and knowledgeable about executing concepts that we have advanced, but she was also extremely courteous and punctual throughout the period. Unlike many architects that can act as pompous know-it-alls, Jody is very willing to work diligently incorporating concepts preferred by the homeowner. Finally and not least importantly Jody is very affordable, charging by the hour at a very reasonable rate. We would recommend her highly to anyone considering the need for architectural services that's for sure.

She is extremely easy to work with and was very receptive to our feedback, while providing great insight into elements of the design that we hadn't even considered. She showed great vision and creativity in working to give us the home that we wanted within the constraints of our property, HOA covenants, and budget. I run a local land surveying company (Atlantic Surveying, Inc.) and need to look at design plans daily to complete the site work preparation for building. I often have to review 5 or 6 sets of plans a week, and Crosby Creations are the most thorough and efficient plans I have worked with. I often have to call a designer to figure out the height of the a/c equipment or for missing dimensions, but Crosby Creations makes my job that much easier! Highly recommend! 10 out of 5 stars! :)

We started out looking for a fixer upper on a waterfront lot somewhere in Charleston County. Everything we saw we could afford was more tear down and start over than fixer upper. One day while searching and looking for that perfect property we came across a VERY pretty lot on a creek with a dock already in place. We were drawn to the property. Couple months later it was ours and now we needed to find an architect to draw up a plan for us. After speaking with several local Architects & finding the process not as pleasant as I'd imagined, I turned to looking & researching online the thousands of ready made floor plans available for purchase. My goal was to find a 2300-2500 sf open concept floor plan with drive under parking and as many floor to ceiling windows as possible to take in the amazing views of Spanish Moss laden Live Oaks, the creek, marsh & river beyond that. I looked at hundreds of plans to no avail. The Grand Oak took up a third of the lot & I was starting to worry that a house and the tree might not fit on the property together! It's like a mini Angel Oak! Enter Jodi Crosby! She met us at the lot one morning and after taking some measurements & jotting down some notes she said "I can work out a great floor plan for y'all and save the tree.". "You can?" I asked. "Yes, I can. We may have to ask the planning board for a variance but that shouldn't be a big deal." said she. We went back to her office and she asked us questions about everything we hoped the house to be. We officially "hired" her that day & it felt GOOD to have Jodi on our team! A few weeks later, Jodi attended the zoning board meeting for us, obtained the variance needed to work the house onto the lot AND save the tree! Jodi worked with us over the internet to prepare a plan we're thrilled with. Jodi is educated, confident & works hard for her clients. We feel very fortunate to have found her! Our final potential builder just submitted his bid so hopefully we'll break ground sometime in the next 6 months.

I am the chairman of deacons at First Baptist Church, Ravenel, SC. Our church is the stereo typical "country church." The church has been incorporated for 100 years, however, our current building was constructed in 1960. Since then, we have remained the same. The only remodels have been a carpet change and pew covers. We are aware of the growth spurt Ravenel will be experiencing in the near future and are wanting to be ready for the "advancement of civilization." We put together a committee to research the need for updating our sanctuary. With little experience in these matters, we were somewhat at a loss as to how to proceed. We have used Crosby Creations for two projects thus far. Our kitchen renovation was a major task and her ability to translate our vision to paper was astounding. We made a few changes and she would have a revised draft within the day. She was very detail oriented and made the process go very smoothly. Our second project has been a deck addition, tying in an outdoor living space to our new kitchen area. Jodi Crosby of Crosby Creations took our initial main floor floor plan and worked it into an elevated two-story home that fit well into the neighborhood. This was not an easy task given the requirements of the subdivision and our personal taste, which isn't exactly the low-country feel the ARB requires. She is well informed about building construction and building codes and worked well with us, the builder, and the city administrator (for variance) as well as helped with the ARB process. She was always available to answer questions, make changes in a timely manner and provide suggestions when needed.

Jodi designed a new set of house plans for me. She was professional as always and timely. She took the time up front to understand what I wanted to accomplish which ultimately saved me money and both of us time. She also coordinated with a structural engineer for me and the permitting office. I am confident she'll be there for me through the build cycle to answer any questions that may come up.

We worked with Jodi to design an addition to our house and a remodel of our master bathroom. She listened to our ideas, assessed our needs, showed us options and put together a professional finished product for us. Not only did she provide drawings, she worked with an engineer to get our plans ready to build. She also took pictures and worked with our HOA board to put together our package for the homeowners association approval process. Because of her due diligence, our petition passed on the first try. Jodi was prompt, punctual and personable. I would not hesitate to recommend Jodi to my friends and would use her services again in a heartbeat should the need arise.

Jodi was a wonderful, respectful, fast, and accurate designer. We were under a tight schedule to get our plans created for our new bathroom and closet and she jumped right in and completed the plans with rounds of corrections from my end very fast! I would highly recommend her!

Crosby Creations designed our new home. We met with Mrs. Crosby and gave her some ideas of what we wanted for our dream home and even gave her a few house plans versions that we liked. She quickly did a first draft for us in about a week. We did a lot by way of the computer and communicated through telephone and email on a regular basis. We did one design and discovered the house was too large and too close to a cottage on our property. However, this 3,000 square foot house was by far the most challenging and involved. Jodi incorporated all of our desires in the square footage limitations that we imposed on her. She listened well and captured our vision immediately. She created a home that takes advantage of the marsh view and fits well on our 3/4 acre heavily wooded lot. The design process was very challenging due to an over involved, gated community 12 member ARC Board. Jodi handled the long tedious process very professionally.
