We just had the exterior of our Tudor home painted. Sheki and his team, Jose and Cesar, were very professional, prompt, meticulous, responsive, and cleaned up very nicely when they completed the work. We had received quotes from other contractors and were looking for meticulous and professional work. Sheki gave us a very reasonable price for the amount of work that was needed. We are very happy with the work the painters performed. It is very clear they are experts in this area. We highly recommend J&S Painting Plus, Inc and plan to use their services again in the future. Our house looks beautiful!

Jay and his crew painted our entire house in June 2020 and the entire experience was seamless. Jay was the consummate professional - responsive, efficient, timely and overall, just a nice person to work with. His rates are extremely competitive. We received estimates from 3 other professionals and Jay easily beat them out. And most importantly, the quality of the work was exceptional. Jay and his crew covered up some gaping holes in the wall and, once they were done, the house looked brand-new. He also finished the work quickly and on my short timeline. We highly recommend J&S Painting Plus and will undoubtedly use them again when we paint the exterior of our house.

I interviewed several painters to do the trim on my Tudor. Jay was the most professional, responsive, flexible and accommodating. While he doesn't do the painting, I was very happy with the crew, and with Jay's supervision. The job was done promptly, cleanly and at the agreed price. What more could you ask?

We've have been customers for over 25 years. Jay and his team have painted all 3 of our homes. Their work is impeccable. From the moment you meet Jay you know you are in good hands. Jay came out to provide an estimate. I also received estimates from other companies. J&S was not the cheapest, but they were reasonable and the level of service and the care with which they seemed to run their business made me choose them. They prepared a contract for my signature and even included language that I requested. They were transparent in their dealings, forthcoming and generous with their expertise and recommendations, and fair. Upon contract signing, the work began in earnest. The crew showed up when they were supposed to and they were unobtrusive, quiet, careful, and courteous. They were also good at their job. They cleaned up after each day of work and kept us abreast of progress and timing. It was all done in the allotted time with no drama. It's been one of the least obtrusive projects we've done. We received a lot of positive feedback from friends and neighbors on the paint job. I waited a year to write any reviews because I wanted to see how the work would hold up and how they would respond to any issue that was covered by their warranty. The following year I called and let them know that a few issues had come up that I would like them to address (a couple of touch-ups, some paint not properly adhering, that kind of thing). They came back to do a walk-though with me and wrote everything down, then scheduled the same crew to come back and address those issues. The crew came when they were supposed to and handled everything with the same quality, care, and dedication as before. The company kept me abreast of schedules and was upfront about everything (for example, when something had to wait a few days for the wood to dry) and they finished a few days later. Jay called me a couple of days later to ensure that everything was taken care of to our satisfaction (it was) and that there was nothing left for them to address (there wasn't). It was a very good experience overall. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again without hesitation.

A diamond in the rough! We've had a terrible time finding contractors, handymen or home service professionals who respond to emails, return phone calls, type up detailed estimates, communicate clearly important information and overall do a good job (with attention to detail). After meeting with Jay we didn't need to meet with anyone else. He is well spoken, on time, (was sweet with our 18 month old) and provided us with a beautiful folder (thank you!) complete with letter, packet of addresses of houses they've painted, reference contact numbers for precious customers, licensing information as well as our personalized estimate and contract. At first we needed and estimate for budgeting purposes (in the early spring) and when we communicated that we'd be in touch once we'd saved up some money, Jay and his office contacted us twice with promotions and enticing offers. When we were finally ready in the early fall, Jay visited again and they were able to fit us in with an opening the very next week! Jay and I walked the property again and we went over every detail, which trim to paint which color, deck staining, options for replacing outdated light fixtures, and I was able to point out that we have older windows and areas to be careful when power washing. We opted for Jay's crew to replace an area of rotted wood which they did beautifully. He left us with three Benjamin Moore color wheels which we studied each night, haha. Our crew, Mauricio and David (and one other painter who I didn't get his name who helped one day) were fantastic. They worked tirelessly for 12 days, up and down ladders, washing, sanding, prepping, caulking, priming, painting, cleaning. It was amazing. Mauricio and Jay were patient with me as we went through a total of FIFTEEN color samples (a little embarrassing but we had to find the right shade! You'd be AMAZED at how different colors can look once they're on a house - we HIGHLY recommend testing colors until you find the right one, don't settle, it's worth it!) They work Monday - Saturday and Mauricio even came one Sunday to stain our deck because it was supposed to rain the next day! The work itself is flawless. Every line is crisp and sharp. Every gap filled. Every request met happily. Jay was involved and helpful throughout the entire process; stopping by, checking in, communicating details that we had discussed with his crew. We went from a fading barn red (trim and all! *see before photo*) house to an inky blue with white trim. They painted our brickwork white and finished the deck in a natural translucent stain which came out fantastic considering the age of the wood. Advice: With a project this large and detailed, you want not only to have excellent work done, but you expect and hope that the people you are working with are pleasant, professional and all around nice people to work with. These are your guys. From Pam in the office, to Jay to Mauricio and David, we couldn't be happier with the work AND the experience. I have used J&S for several painting projects. They are professional and high quality. One of the owners comes to the house to discuss the project, and give you an estimate. They put together an appropriate team of workers who are all very meticulous and polite and they get your job done in the time promised. They can discuss which type of paint to use for trim, walls, ceilings, windows, etc. They do things properly and their work lasts. On the day they arrive, an owner accompanies the team, and presents you with a folder containing the scope of the job and an agreement for services to be completed. You always feel like you are being treated respectfully by professionals who take their business and your needs seriously. I highly recommend them.
