Keen Construct

Keen Construct completed our renovation in amazing style. True to his word, Cameron and the team delivered a fantastic result in our property. Knocking kitch/dining wall down. Overcoming load-baring wall issues to complete a dynamic space. Repairing/patching and polishing existing Tasmanian Oak floor boards to help combine the now open plan area. adding both a new kitchen and laundry with stone benchtops. This has completely changed our place. We cant thank Keen Construct enough. the job site was always clean and tidy and team a pleasure to deal with.

We had Cameron and his team undertake 2 pieces of work as part of our renovation/extension project. The first was external trenching and plumbing works to replace the original ceramic wastewater pipe work from the mid 1950’s. There were a few surprises revealed during the process, but nothing was too much trouble to sort out. We also used Cameron to renovate our ensuite bathroom. He was open to suggestions and also provided ideas on our plans based on his experiences. He also offered alternate solutions in his quote to allow us to pick the option that best met our needs and budget. The workmanship was of a very high standard and done quickly. Cameron oversaw the whole project and visited the site on a regular basis to make sure he was happy with the work being done. Nothing was too much trouble and he always responded quickly to any questions we had. He provided great service, workmanship and delivered on what he said he was going to do. I’d happily use him and his team again in the future and I have already recommended Cameron to friends thinking of building or renovating.

We found Cameron and his team to be an excellent choice for the work we had done at our new house. The work involved preparation of our block for future landscaping, removal of dirt and preparation of road base for concreting, design and installation of a substantial stormwater system and laying of 220m2 of concrete. We received quotes from three companies and chose Cameron because of his willingness to put in the effort to exceed our expectations and provide an outcome that we absolutely love. I was very fussy about many aspects of the job and what I really liked about Cameron was his attention to detail, his patience with my many questions and the genuine interest he took in the work. He was open to suggestions but also came up with ideas and improvements to the original design we had based on his experience. Cameron’s workmanship and the workmanship of his team was of a high standard. They were respectful to our family and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. Cameron was happy to accommodate some changes to the initial design of the storm water system after a heavy downpour showed up a few short comings. He was also happy to make time to come and repair the pipework when it was damaged during the concreting. Cameron managed the whole project, taking time to visit site with the concreters to make sure they understood the job properly. When the concreter he had recommended was unable to do the job, he was able to recommend another one who did a fantastic job. Cameron’s price was not the cheapest and he never made any pretence about being so. What we got however was excellent and honest customer service, high quality workmanship, and a fantastic outcome that we are really pleased with. I would be more than happy to recommend Cameron’s services to anyone.

Cameron built an interior laundry and renovated a toilet. The work was done well, at a reasonable pace and price. He was receptive to our suggestions, had good ideas and the overall result was very satisfying. He clearly cares about quality and that the design fitted well the existing house.
