King Construction Company, LLC has been custom building all types of agricultural and accessory buildings since 1978. We specialize in equestrian facilities consisting of stall barns, bank barns, covered riding arenas, and many other buildings associated with the equestrian market. We also build custom party/hobby barns, garages and residential barn homes. Along with being the custom builder for projects, we also offer a custom design service for projects outside of our building area.
Today King Construction's organization has grown to include more than 100 people.
In addition to our construction teams, we have an in-house staff to manage engineering, drafting, project scheduling, materials purchasing and all of the administrative functions that go along with a complex and active business.
We utilize the talent and skills of our own highly-experienced and well-trained
crews, mostly recruited from the Amish/Mennonite communities surrounding our
office and shop facilities in New Holland, Pennsylvania.
Over the years, we've grown a team of 10 crews, so we're well-prepared to
manage multiple projects of any size.
One of our strengths is the longevity of service within our entire construction
team. Our construction supervisors have an average tenure of nearly 20 years,
our crew foremen average more than 10 years, and most of our crew members
have 5 years of experience. This continuity and longevity is almost unheard of
in the construction industry, and it's a primary reason why our buildings are
known for their fine detail and superior craftsmanship.
To maintain our all-important quality control, we provide all the framing and
finish materials for each of our projects. We also build all of our components: custom doors, stalls, grilles, aisle doors, sliding doors, cupolas and an assortment of fittings for the barn interiors. In addition to carpentry, we have our own mason to complete the stone and stucco work that is often an integral part of our designs.
