KJB FIREPLACES

Had my fireplace converted to gas in 2021 and I have been enjoying my FABULOUS, blue water looking fire glass insert!! I have been recommending them only. Everyone at this company is so friendly and professional.

KJB did an amazing job with our fireplace. We worked with a few people there (they were all great!) but Ken, the owner, worked with us directly as well. I was indecisive having to make a lot of decisions in a short amount of time (from closing to move in) and I was a royal pain but he stuck with us and showed multiple options, talked us through the process and truly went above and beyond in response to my slightly bonkers requests. The end product is also phenomenal and just what I had hoped for, I really love it. I'm so grateful to Ken and the team for their flexibility and for helping us get where we did (they have a lot of patience!!).

Don't waste your hard earned money here. Apparently, they're plenty busy and in no need of new customers. I called them the morning to confirm the exact time of the appointment but they weren't able to. I then asked that theygive me a 30min heads up. I later receive a voice message that the guy showed up late to the appointment they weren't able to confirm a couple of hours earlier. I then asked whether he could come back the same day because there seemed to be a miscommunication. His response was that there was no miscommunication and that I had simply forgotten about my appointment. He would likely not be able to but would let me know. Seriously?

I'm very happy with the job that KJB Fireplaces did with my new gas insert on my fireplace. They walked me through the process every step of the way. They completed the plumbing, electrical and installation of the gas insert in my fireplace. They did an outstanding job in doing this for me. They were very professional and answered any questions I had on the process. They also worked with CCS Stone in creating my Black Granite Hearth for my fireplace. CCS Stone did an outstanding job in creating my Black Granite Hearth for my fireplace. I'm very happy with all the work that KJB Fireplaces and CCS Stone did on my fireplace. I can't wait to be able to use the gas insert in the upcoming winter months. I would highly recommend both KJB Fireplaces and CCS Stone to anyone that needed any work done on their fireplace.

My husband and I finally had enough of our outdated brick fireplace facade. KJB arrived onsite, provided an estimate, compiled the materials and executed the project in time for Christmas. The fireplace looked better than we dreamed. It's changed the entire vibe of the room. Seasoned professionals, courteous workers, impeccable materials and workmanship. Highly recommend KBJ for any fireplace project.

KJB was very professional. They replaced my granite around an existing fireplace. Moreover, they were easy to work with. I recommend them.

Great service. Had KJB install two gas fireplaces, install new hearth and stone around fireplace. Everything was done on time and within budget, and came out beautiful. From sales to install, the KJB team was great and delivered everything they promised. I highly recommend KJB and will certainly use them again for any future fireplace replacement or repair.

We bought a Regency gas fireplace from KJB 2 years ago. There was a delay with our contractor, and KJB was quite patient and accommodating on the initial install. Sorry to say it has been downhill from there. Since the unit was installed it emitted a sharp metallic odor. We were told the new materials were off-gassing, and the smell would dissipate after 72 (I think) hours. Fair enough. After a month or so we let the company know the odor hasn't abated. They offered a few suggestions. Nothing worked. The fireplace can now stay on for about 45 minutes before the smell starts wafting through the house. The first rep from KJB who came to our house told us we used improper installation materials. Not only was he rude, he was completely wrong. Our installation materials were as required. He actually suggested "You probably used a Mexican to install this." Seriously. I asked him to leave the house. Not only offended I was frightened given his anger level. Management was apologetic, so we let it go. They assured us another representative from the company would come to our house. This transitioned to ' someone from the manufacturer' would be coming to the house. Over six months and many emails later, no one has shown up. We were hopeful this would have been resolved. I wouldn't be writing this review--sorry to be doing so. KJB has failed to respond. The excuses are legendary (my kid is sick--I haven't answered emails, etc. Not only that there were silly little things that happened with charges. We ordered glass, not rocks for the interior but when they came they didn't have enough. When someone came back--a good while later-- with the rest of the glass, he also had stones. I said I hadn't ordered those, but the rep assured me, 'no problem you won't be charged.' Well we were. There were other billing discrepancies that we let go--but are now questioning given the shoddy service we've experienced.
