If I could use a minus 5 stars I would. Although he built our "dream" home years ago, we are still making repairs & dealing with the incompetency of his subs & his lack of supervision. We have had major electrical problems, roofing issues ( leaking & shingles falling off) & plumbing issues resulting in mold & remediation & rebuild of part of the house. The nightmares of the horrible building experience continues! Kyle & Josh, his supervisor have no problem looking you in the eye & lying to you! Stay away from them!

I hired Kyle to replace all the siding and windows on my home. I bid against three other people and he came in with a fair price. Once the work started, it went very smoothly, they adapted to a few hiccups that we ran across, as you do with any older home, and we have a great finished product. One of the nicest looking houses in the community. The bid he gave us was very accurate and we only went over budget due to some decisions I made along the way.

I have known Kyle Lindsey for over 10 years and have hired him to handle multiple remodeling jobs for clients as well as the complete construction of 2 custom homes for my family. What I have come to find about Kyle is that his commitment to his personal integrity and his transparency in all of his transactions is very rare in this business. From the start of all of the projects that Kyle has done for my wife and I, we knew going in, what the margins were going to be and what Kyle would be making on this transaction. Name another builder that would do this? Through the years, Kyle has not only become a name I gladly refer, he's become someone I consider a good friend. His finished projects speak for themselves and the awards and accolades that his homes have received over the years are without question. He is trustworthy, honest and I consider his character above reproach. I would not hesitate to recommend Kyle for new custom home project and I feel very strongly that he will be the builder or our next one as well.

Back in 2004 during my homebuilder search, I was directed to Kyle Lindsey Custom Homes. I set up a time to interview Kyle and at the end of that meeting, I knew I had found my builder. Kyle came across as a man with high character and integrity. I liked the full disclosure of price breakdown including his fee. I felt his allowances would be realistic. He proved over and over these things to be true and more during the entire process. Kyle and the designer/architect worked well together. He was very much involved in the design phase and would re-direct us on ideas he knew would not fit our budget. Kyle is a great scheduler. I could count on one hand the number of days there was not a contractor at the home working during the entire 7 month process. He has the finances down to a tee. I knew exactly where the money went on each and every draw. The building process was smooth with only a few problems arising. When those problems surfaced, Kyle was quick to resolve the issue. He was at the building site almost every day and is very much a hands on general contractor. Kyle is a communicator. He nearly always answered his phone, but if not, you got a call back quickly. Same with texts and emails. At the end of the day, what anyone wants out of the home building experience is a place they love and call home. They want to be able to call their builder a friend. I got it all! I highly recommend to anyone to give Kyle Lindsey a chance to build their dream home. If I find myself wanting to build again, Kyle will be my custom home builder again.

Kyle Lindsey is a professional con artist. He takes your money, does not deliver and just flat out lies to your face. We had to pay his sub contractors to finish our house that took 2 years to build! Why so long? Because he never paid his subs, therefore, they wouldn't show up. We paid him....and he simply walked with our money!!!! This is the God's honest truth. This is the reason for my taking the time to post here.

We built our dream home with Kyle Lindsey in 2014. This was our first custom home build and it could not have been a better experience. His attention to detail was great and it shows in our home, and we are reminded every time a guest comes over and comments on our absolutely beautiful home. We would highly recommend Kyle Lindsey to anyone; he truly is built on integrity. We can honestly say that the custom home building process we had with Kyle Lindsey was an all-around great experience. He was involved and fully committed from day one in the design of the house with the architect, over 6 months before we ever signed a contract with him. One of the most important aspects of the process was Kyle’s very thorough bidding process which allowed us to stay about as close to our budget as possible for a true custom home. I hired Kyle Lindsey to build my home in October of 2014. Construction started in mid December and four months later there was very little progress. My slab had not been poured 120 days into the project and for no apparent reason. After my third conversation with Mr. Lindsey about the lack of progress on my home, I had no choice but to fire him and find another builder. I would not recommend Kyle Lindsey Custom Homes.

Kyle Lindsey has built 2 homes for us and is currently doing a kitchen remodel. He does exceptional work and is easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to build or remodel.

In 2010, we contracted with Kyle Lindsey Custom Homes to build our retirement home in Cordillera Ranch in Boerne, TX. From all of the excellent custom homebuilders in the area, we selected Kyle because of the very high quality of work done by his tradesmen and his transparent way of doing business. Kyle listened to our requests and bid as specified in the project specifications and drawings with options to lower project costs or increase value. We worked closely together to find innovative ways to keep the cost within budget while not giving up on any of our critical desires. Throughout the project, cost and schedule were well managed. Quality and attention to detail from the trades far exceeded our expectations. When members of a national builders association visited our home in 2013, several builders stated that our home was in the top 5% of all of the homes that they have seen nationwide based on design, attention to detail and quality of finishes. Kyle stays current on building practices and tools by being a member of this national organization, as well as, the Greater San Antonio Builders Association.
