We worked with Aran and his team on a complete redesign of our front and backyard including new front and backyard steps, retaining walls and plantings and they did an amazing job!! We found Aran through houzz and decided to work with him because of our shared aesthetics - we wanted to completely redesign our landscaping to a more natural look inspired by the NYC High Line and he really understood our vision and the end result is even better than we could have imagined! Aran has been super responsive and communicating every step of the way (we had vastly different experiences with other contractors in the past), so really appreciated his responsiveness and transparency throughout the process. His prices are competitive and he worked with us to make sure we stay within our budget. When one our deck contractor we hired before starting the landscape project with Aran just left the job unfinished Aran even offered to help out and finish their job which is so greatly appreciated !! And most of all, Aran’s crew are some of the most hardworking people we have ever met. Watching them build our new stone retaining wall (which turned out beautifully) over the summer in 90 degree weather with such precision really made us appreciate the end result even more because we know how much work went into it. Aran and his crew always showed up when they said they would and finished the job as planned and we are so, so happy with our new landscaping and will definitely work with them again in the future (hopefully next year or the year after for our pool project!). We have never dealt with such an unprofessional, disorganized and clueless person in all of the years we have worked with various tradesmen. -He didn't create a design that fit our needs or budget, so my husband had to create it and came up with the entire design. -We had to repeatedly ask him for a drawing of the design - after I had already paid him for the design. He delivered a basic black and white design which was not helpful at all, and did not deliver the colored rendering which he shows as examples on his website. -When we did ask for the rendering, he created it completely NOT to scale. Which isn't helpful at all - the entire point of a rendering is that it needs to be to scale. -I shared 4 different times that I did NOT want any colored plantings, and yet, he disregarded this and suggested pink flowers in one email, and purple in another even after I had repeated what I said in my first email. -He delivered us boxwood plants WAY too early in the season and they got completely frostbitten, then left them unplanted for over a month, and never removed the dead leaves which resulted in dead looking and unhealthy boxwood. -He made our custom outdoor fireplace bench 6 inches too short - and did not apologize - instead shrugged it off, and said that's what happens with custom work. The bench was supposed to be 18 inches high, which we signed off on and went over multiple times before it was built. -He made the fireplace structure lopsided and uneven in the front and back - which we have pointed out to him at least 10 times. My husband's father who is an architect had to come by and share the EXACT measurements and areas where it was off and needed to be fixed, yet weeks have gone by and this has not been fixed. -We approved a specific layout design for the tile, which he mocked up, and we again signed off on, and yet he laid the exact OPPOSITE design. -His masons measured the starting points for the patio incorrectly, resulting in an entirely lopsided rectangular patio, which threw off where the patio meets the fireplace. So now we have to live with a jagged edge along where the patio meets the bench, and the grill. -The outdoor grill structure is also completely off - the left front side is almost 2 inches more forward than the right side. -He chose not to respond to any of my emails from our first initial meeting, and instead responded only to my husband who was never to be involved with the project, but had to take over as we were getting nowhere. -He never gave us a schedule, time of when the work would be done, when the crew would be coming or going, despite us saying we had a deadline. The project took over 5 months, when it should have taken 1 month. -We are now left with dead boxwood, a crooked patio, a miniature bench, a crooked fireplace, a red chimney sticking out that was never approved and that we have repeatedly asked to be removed.

We had a great experience with LandForm Partners. They installed a split rail fence for us after multiple other contractors fell through. They were able to fit us in to a their busy schedule and their prices were competitive, given the high quality of materials and service (and the significant increase in the price of wood products). The installation was done within the agreed timeframe and they were patient and accommodating when we asked for changes. Aran was very responsive and communication was easy. Highly recommended and we plan on using them again in the future.

Aran and his team worked on our property for over a year to complete a substantial re-imagining of our back yard, front yard and driveway. The team completely transformed the property, giving us more yard space and patio space making it feel more open and inviting. Aran is a great design partner, patiently iterating with us on design ideas for walls, steps, borders, plantings, etc. until the best design revealed itself and his team could execute the build. Aran helped guide us through our town's wetland permit approval process to remove dead ash trees, hazardous live trees, and an invasive grove of bamboo. We had tried to navigate the process ourselves (for a couple years), but were stuck in red tape and bureaucracy. He was able to navigate the process in just a few weeks, even during COVID-19 with everyone working remote. He created a narrative for the work, maps of the project area, coordinated with a local tree warden for a tree analysis and presented it all to the wetlands commission. Throughout it all, he always kept us up to date on his progress and was very responsive whenever we had questions.

After we bought a house in the woods in upstate New York we needed help to transform the property in to our vision. Aran was the essential ingredient to achieve our goals. He implemented all of our ideas and then brought his own along all of which were implemented with a flair and style that resulted in a stunning result. We recently moved to New Canaan and had no idea where to begin with our yard renovation, as it was extremely overgrown. We reached out to a few different landscape architects in the area and moved forward with Landform Partners because of all the different projects they were able to manage: Tree work, landscape design, general landscaping (& snowplowing), stone / wood work, electrical, sprinkler system and the list goes on. When we first met with Aran, we took him for a walk of our property and discussed our vision for the property. Shortly that meeting, he came back to us with different ideas and a rough time table / budget surrounding each project. He came up with really well thought out plans for transforming our property, but made sure they flowed with the current landscaping. He is open to us tweaking his initial design and works with us to meet our end goal. Aran is always available for a call / text and is happy to meet in the evenings or throughout the weekends. His budgeting and timetables are very accurate and honest. Overall, we have very much enjoyed working with LandForm Partners and will continue to use them for any additional projects.

I have finally found my landscape architect! I have been looking for someone with vision and creativity to design my front and back landscaping for a while! I had a general idea of what I wanted but needed help bringing it to life, designing it and actually planting it. Our condominium complex hired Aran Weiner of LandForm Partners to update and enhance our landscaping for our condominium complex. Aran met with our homeowners several times prior to starting the job. Each homeowner was given the opportunity to decide the existing plants they wished to keep in place and those they wanted to replace. Based on this information, Aran developed a plan which was unique for each home and created an overall cohesive design. During the planting, Aran spoke with each available homeowner to ensure their needs were being met. At each stage, Aran was most professional. He developed a creative landscape which will thrive in our setting by the water. Very important, since he wants to ensure that the enhanced landscaping thrive, Aran has agreed to assist us in interviewing individuals who will properly maintain our new trees, plants and perrenials.

LandForm recently completed a very complex stone wall and landscaping project at our home in Larchmont, NY. Over an 18-month period, they led a group of engineers, surveyors, masons, carpenters, plumbers and contractors from conception through design, permitting, entitlement and, ultimately, construction of a new, large scale, concrete and stone retaining wall. The project was complicated from beginning to end, and required tremendous creativity and flexibility as each new challenge was identified and managed. The process also involved significant interaction with town officials in order to incorporate the needs of the town and obtain the necessary approvals and permits. Aran and Bill did an excellent job under challenging circumstances, and were a pleasure to work with throughout a prolonged project. The end result is a structurally significant addition to our property and beautifies the front of our home. We were fortunate to have selected LandForm to shepard us through such a significant project.

I am very happy to report on my experience with Aran Weiner, my landscape architect. I hired him to create a floral garden along a winding pathway that I had had installed at my home in Westchester, NY. He came highly recommended by my stone mason professional who had installed the walkway. Aran was very prompt to contact me, and we began planning the project. After months of planning and talking with numerous contractors we hired Aran to take on a very complicated landscaping project that turned our overgrown and unusable sloped property into a showpiece. The entire front landscape is beautifully lit and at night it becomes an entirely different space. The end results are separate, but unified areas of usable space for my kids and I, to relax and enjoy the outdoors. His varied, but native choice in plantings have also brought me joy- every few weeks of the spring/fall/summer there are new plantings that are blooming, releasing scents and in full color- making for a continually changing landscape. We live on a lot that is very exposed to the street. We get compliments from people just passing by as well as friends who get to use the patios and gardens Aran developed. We love the result. The company was able to put together a package that was affordable and super easy to work with. Aran created an artistic design that exceeded my imaginings.
