Lauren Evans Interiors is a design firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in crafting inviting interiors that incorporate comfort and elegance in seamlessly livable designs, tailored to client tastes and lifestyle preferences. We’re perhaps best known for our transitional aesthetic that deftly blends traditional and contemporary elements in harmonious and sophisticated spaces, with an inclusive approach to family heirlooms and other treasures. Lauren finds inspiration in layering pattern, color, and texture to exude effortless individuality with a hint of playfulness. Eclectic, but always harmonious, these interiors display a sensibility honed by her travels throughout Europe and time spent living abroad. We’re aware that remodeling can be disruptive, and pride ourselves on being there for clients, every inch of the way from inspiration to install. We've worked with Lauren twice now. Once for a full room make over and another time for some updating and adjustments to another room. We're beyond thrilled with both results. I particularly appreciate Lauren's ability to listen, to address needs and ideas and yet still have a point of view. I would highly recommend working with Lauren and her team. We really enjoyed our experience working with Lauren. We had recently moved into a new home in SF (Central Richmond), and were having trouble figuring out how to design the space on our own. We found Lauren's profile here on Houzz and liked what we saw, so we had her over for a consultation. She took a tour of our space, reviewed an idea board we had put together, and presented clear expectations for our project. At our next meeting, Lauren brought a binder full of ideas for each room, including furniture pieces, window treatment options, and light fixtures. We were particularly struck by the degree to which Lauren helped work around the sometimes-quirky layout of our historic Edwardian. For our dining room, Lauren selected a slightly more-adventurous design than we would have imagined on our own: a bold patterned wallpaper above a rich blue paint on our existing wainscoting. Our initial inclination was to go with something a little less funky, but we ultimately managed to talk ourselves into going with her vision. We love the way the room turned out, and get more compliments from visitors on that room than any other. We are definitely happy with the final product. With Lauren's help, our home now has a tasteful modern vibe, which is exactly what we were hoping for from the beginning.

Lauren is amazing. She has excellent taste, is mindful of budget, and makes sure everything is done to the highest quality. Lauren helped us redesign a substantial part of our home -- master bath, paint & trim colors throughout the house, our living room hearth & fireplace, light fixtures & chandeliers, etc. I have never worked with a designer but having Lauren advising and finding materials, fixtures and colors was a complete godsend when we were doing a significant project and wanted to make sure we loved it. Lauren made everything very self serve, bringing us samples to choose from and guiding us to work with high quality vendors. Our master bath is gorgeous -- Lauren took meticulous care to select the right stone and tile, and bring in statement pieces like our beautiful mirrors and distinctive light fixtures. I literally want to live in my master bath :)

We can't say enough good things about Lauren!! She did not have an easy task from the beginning. We had asked Lauren to come in and update several of our bedrooms that were originally traditional to something more transitional. However, the tricky part of our job was she needed to work with many items we did not want to change. I was blown away by how quickly she came in with fantastic ideas that were spot on...she immediately knew how to marry the two styles creating exactly what I wanted. When the project was done our home was fresh, fun, sophisticated and within our budget. I was unbelievably impressed by her design sense, attention to detail, professionalism and her follow through. She is incredibly organized, resourceful, quick, very easy to work with and has great vision. I feel lucky to have been recommended Lauren and would use her over and over again!!!

We hired Lauren to help with all our textile selections including rug, window treatments and pillow fabrications in our family room, and are so glad we did. Not only is she incredibly talented and has a great eye, but also listens to what you want, and delivers. My husband and I had different ideas and she was able to give us a solution that we both liked! She's not pushy at all - she gives you options, and lets you decide. She has great relationships with fabricators and installers who do immaculate work. The end result is a space that is not only beautiful, but also feels like your own. Our window treatments are absolutely beautiful and we get compliments on them all the time. On top of that, Lauren truly is a pleasure to work with. She immediately put us at ease and honestly made the process fun!

Lauren has been a HUGE help in our home! She has done a great job marrying the tastes of me and my husband, which are quite different, and helped us come up with a style we both love. She is able to focus on your personal style without the influence of her own personal style, while giving excellent guidance on what works and what doesn't. Regardless of the other projects she was working on, she always made me feel like we were her top priority. Lauren was responsive, detailed, and always such a joy to work with!

"I couldn't be happier with the result that I received from Lauren's hard work. The pictures speak for themselves. I'll focus my comments on her exceptional level of service. She listened to all of my ideas to understand my desires for the project. Her vendor management was especially helpful, since I did not have to micro-manage the production and logistics of the improvements. Best of all, I never felt any pressure to move forward with any particular feature or idea - she was very easy to work with in this regard!"

I don't even have the words to describe the talents of Lauren Evans Interiors. She started with our complete remodel project from day one with the utmost detail, helped us choose everything from flooring, tile, counter tops, lighting, wall paint, mirrors, etc. for our 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house. It was no easy feat, but Lauren Evans tackled each room with such detail, professionalism and class turning our dreams into reality. She is so knowledgeable on all accounts, extremely professional and highly respected in the interior design world, and I can't recommend her enough. She's as good as they get! Anyone would be lucky to have her on their team to help create their dream home.
