I worked with Cathy and her team on a very challenging project. They were creative in finding solutions to difficult situations, easy to work with and, though Covid presented acute challenges, installations were generally on time. I highly recommend Legacy Shading.

Its obvious that the Legacy Shading team cares about their service, their product and delivering all the extras that are important in developing a lasting relationship with their clients. We have a large 12x4ft skylight over our kitchen island that needed some sort of shade product. Matt and team had the direction, design and know-how... and while in our case the manufacture had issues with shipping Legacy the right parts at the right time, the Legacy Shading team kept things in stride for us and offered up many solutions. The installation crew was very organized and efficient, took pride in their work (paying attention to small details like making the shade casing blend seamlessly with the walls. They made finer adjustments to ensure the blackout shades would provide maximum blackout. And finished with a spotless cleanup. Legacy shading gives great service. They know what they are doing and are always professional. I've actually used Matt twice - a few years ago, he measured and installed automatic blinds on my entire house - as luck would have it, we ended up moving and leaving all those beautiful blinds behind. No problem! I called Matt back and he installed new blinds in our new house. I highly recommend Legacy shading.

Matt Geans of Legacy Shades did a fabulous job of installing blackout and sheer shades for my master bedroom windows and sliding patio door. The result is both elegant and functional and it allows me to sleep at night in a nice dark room and the sheers allow me to have light, but privacy during the day. I am thoroughly pleased with the product and the workmanship!

Our shades from Legacy Shading have proven to be one of the best investments for our home that we have made in a long time. We chose the Lutron motorized shades for our children's rooms initially to help with light blockage, and after meeting with Cathy decided to have them installed in our master bedroom as well. Not only is the light blockage incredible, but the ease of raising and lowering the shades in our home is wonderful. We find ourselves opening windows more often and using windows that previously were difficult to reach. The sleek, clean look of the shades we chose also add to our decor and look fantastic. Over 35% Savings /Exceptional Customer Service My wife and I were considering getting automatic (wireless Remote Control) shades. I initially got a quote from one of the big home improvement stores that was very outrageous. In my effort to get a better price, I started doing research and was referred to Matt at Legacy Shading. We talked on the phone for a few minutes and he told me he could help and put me in contact with Cathy. Legacy Shading typically do commercial properties and larger volume, but they were willing to help me with my small order (3 Serena by Lurton Shades). After a few emails with Cathy, I got an amazing quote that was more than $900 cheaper than the big home improvement store. Not to mentioned, the home improvement store was going to charge me an additional $350 for installation. Matt assured me that this type of shade was easy to install and that he was willing to help with installation instructions. They allowed me to make a down payment prior to the order and pay the rest upon arrival. The most amazing part was that when my order arrived, Matt personally unwrapped the shades, drilled the proper holes into the parts, and give me step by step instructions on how to install it. They even included batteries to power my shades and help me load it into my car. I ended up saving over $1100 for the product and installation. That’s a total saving of over 35% of what I would have had to pay at the home improvement store. Matt's initial consultation was great. He was prompt at an early time in the morning, per my request, and was quick / thorough at reviewing the options. The installation was painless and perfect with the 2 team members cleaning off some walls that had minor debris and ensuring I knew how to work / re-charge the motors. Great work - would definitely hire again!!!
