The renovation of my Comox condo is almost complete. It has taken over 6 months and I was not looking forward to the disruption this could cause. I am a recently widowed senior. I needed new flooring, cupboards, countertops, rugs and furnishings. And I know nothing about home design. I really needed help. I looked at the website of Linzie Heffernan and decided to approach her. I was worried that she would be la-de-dah or too fancy or too aloof. I needn't have worried. Besides her expertise in design Linzie has refined communication skills. She was able to keep a straight face when I ask the most basic questions. She welcomed the advice of my adult daughter. She gave clear options to my queries. Linzie came to my condo several times to check on progress and give advice. When I emailed questions the responses were timely and clear. Her fee was reasonable, considering her time, effort and knowledge. It is because of the success of our partnership that I can rest my eyes as I glance at our renovations. I have a huge grin on my face when my visitors admire my color choices, my new furnishings, even my wall coverings and art work...my new decor.....it's all me...and Linzie!

Can you build and design a house from 2,000 miles away? You can, with confidence, if Linzie is part of the team! We just moved into our beautiful home and couldn’t have done it without her care and attention to detail. She understood what we wanted and made our lives easy! LOVE LOVE LOVE Linzie and her amazing taste and eye for detail. My husband and I don’t not have loads of money and we don’t renovate for a living so when we hired Linzie as our designer we put all our trust in her and her design and did she deliver - she went beyond our expectations! Our home was too traditional for us and our young family. We wanted open, white, bright and modern and we got EXACTLY what we asked for. From the minute we contacted Linzie we knew we were in great hands. Courteous, professional, timely, innovative and creative are all words used to describe Linzie and her interior design style. Linzie always respected our budget giving us several choices and when things did not go according to plans; Linzie was quick to fix the problem (like when our stone vanity arrived in pieces!!!!). My husband and I were so impressed with Linzie and her calm, gentle nature. Not pushy, certainly not overbearing. Just a lovely woman with impeccable taste who made my house look like a showpiece. I am so glad I went with hiring Linzie because I finally have the kitchen and bathroom of my dreams! It doesn’t matter how much HGTV and design shows you watch, you cannot beat having the advice and guidance of an interior designer. And, if you think it couldn’t get better with Linzie she is extremely reasonable in her pricing. WIN WIN!!! I can’t say enough great things about Linzie and I tell all my friends and co workers about Linzie and her amazing portfolio of her work. I show off my kitchen like it’s my child!!

Linzie was a pleasure to work with and her particular style and design “lens” was inspiring and always spot on. What started out as a color palette selection ended up to be so much more as her recommendations in other areas were intuitive and helped make our new space a welcoming and refreshing space. We hired Linzie to help us choose the finishings for our new house. She gave us options and help us make our selections for kitchen cabinets, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, flooring throughout the house, fireplace design, bathroom cabinets, counter tops, wall tiles, lighting throughout the house, stairwell design, door and closet millwork, plus exterior house finishes. We are especially pleased with the bathroom tile designs! Everything came together amazingly well and we could not have done it without her.

Linzie is an incredibly talented and gifted designer. I appreciate her ability to listen and understand where I was trying to get to and then accomplish it for me beyond what I had hoped for! Her customer service is excellent and would highly recommend her!

Linzie is great with design and with people. The ideas are fresh, the designs deliver the feel and function that we wanted, and Linzie worked with all the trades to problem solve things as they came up. Linzie expanded on our original thoughts with ideas about design, colour, flooring, lighting, and tile (and more) and delivered an end product better than we could have envisioned. We highly recommend Linzie as a designer and consultant and think very highly of her.

Linzie has worked with me on two projects! One was a furniture design/ plan for my home in Crown Isle and one was a small renovation/staging project on a house I needed to sell. Linzie even took the time to help me sell some items I had and organize my garage! Linzie was fun to work with, a good listener, creative, efficient and well organized, and budget conscience. Overall I was pleased with both projects and would highly recommend Linzie for any project big or small.

We had Linzie help us renovate a 1923 home we recently purchased. The interior was in very rough shape and was in bad need of an upgrade. We did a complete reno of the interior (including adding a bathroom upstairs). This was our second major reno but this time selecting paint colours, tile etc. was easy thanks to Linzie's good eye and ability to listen to what we liked. Whenever we encountered an issues onsite Linzie was quick to respond which helped us avoid delaying the contractor.
