I have known Brian Louis professionally for over 20 years. In that time, I have engaged him to provide architectural services at a number of commercial properties that I owned as well as to design an addition to my home. He has proven himself to be a consummate professional, dedicated to providing the highest level of service. He consistently delivers creative, cost effective solutions and he has always been a strong advocate for me in dealings with contractors and local authorities. He is especially adept at understanding Building Codes and how to apply them so as to have the least impact on a project. Brian seamlessly shepherded two of my projects through the change of use process with a notoriously difficult Code Enforcement Officer. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an Architect’s services in Western New York.

I worked with Brian Louis on the design & development of my home. I am fortunate to own a piece of property on Lake Erie in Buffalo, NY that had a very old summer cottage on it. After two very long years of unforeseen construction and zoning issues, building code regulations and extreme weather and wind I am very happy to say that I have a beautiful home on the shore of Lake Erie and that Brian Louis helped to make my dream a reality!!! Brian's professionalism, vast knowledge, and ability to provide a service level to overcome obstacles allowed the project to be completed as designed.

Brian Louis provided an outstanding design and architectural service for my wife and I. He first patiently listened to our needs and desires for our new home then designed our dream home. He made several suggestions and adjustments in the review process. He also made himself available for consultation during the actual construction process with concise answers for the builder as the house progressed to completion. The result is that after several years living in our home... we would not change a thing. It's perfect.

This is the third large project that we've used Louis Designs to do the architectural and design plans for. Brian is very professional and willing to work with your ideas but is also very helpful when direction is needed by the client. We ended up using three different contractors for each project and they were very pleased with the plans that were drawn up for the job and had no problem following them. Brian has always been punctual for meetings and in the completion of his drawings. He's available during the project and timely if a change needs to be done. Brian is a man of his word and works with the utmost integrity. He is always prepared and amenable with whatever the client's needs are.
