Bengt Erlandsson Interior Design

We love working with Bengt and Lloyd! It has only been a year since our first project together but I have been extremely impressed with them in that short amount of time. They are knowledgeable, professional, honest, and do amazing work. As well as understanding the aesthetics they also understand construction. I never have to explain anything to them we talk about our options and they just get it. When working on a project it is crucial that the home owner, designer, and sub contractor communicate. Bengt Erlandsson Interiors is always on top of it keeping everyone in the loop and the project on track. They are very easy to work with! Every mutual client we have had is extremely happy with the product, and service they received from them.

We are building a new home, and Bengt and his team are involved in every aspect of the design. Bengt has a long-established relationship with our architect, and the two have worked hand-in-hand from the very first concepts. In fact, nearly every meeting we've had with our architect has taken place in Bengt's studio, with his full participation. This has produced a complete harmonic continuity between the structure and the interior and exterior experiences. From a practical view, Bengt's studio regularly works on very large projects around the world, which gives them a huge frame of reference and a vast vocabulary of design. It also happens to mean that connections with sources and suppliers are extensive, often resulting in special access to a great variety of goods or significantly reduced pricing that established retailers cannot offer. Bengt and his team have an ongoing commitment to crafting exactly the right space for our current and future family. This includes our budget, which I believe for this level of professional quality is probably rare. There is no ego or agenda from him, no inclination to simply design what has already been done or to produce whatever will look best in a portfolio, regardless of cost or other real-life considerations. Bengt continues to invest substantial time learning who we are and how we live. He studies our children and our friends, and he knows much of our background. This affects every choice. It cultivates a real soul within our home. Bengt is a good, honest person, and his whole studio reflects this. There are no hidden costs or kickbacks from vendors. Everything is transparent. It sounds silly to say it, but we are glad to pay for the work, sometimes even coaxing him to charge a little more for his services. They are the best investment we have made in our home. We started with an expectation that our home would be lovely, but Bengt has tailored a design and overall aesthetic that goes far beyond to something much more vital, more exciting -- indeed sacred -- that feels deeply right to us. It's as if this home has become a living member of our family, even before it is built.

Bengt and Lloyd are great. Professional, committed, enthusiastic. They did a great job designing and managing the project. I'm very happy with the result of the bathroom they completely remodeled and of the redesign of our three kids' rooms. The one thing they are not is inexpensive, but you get what you pay for and these guys are worth the money. I'm planning to use their services again next year when I remodel my living room.

Bengt Designs had space plans, building renderings for us very fast so that we could present our business to the city and contractors. They also offered contractors, and builders to get the job done. They designed custom shelving and paint to complete our barbershop.

Bengt Erlandsson and his partner Lloyd have a tremendous professional acumen and great ideas and vision, but at the same time posses one of the highest level of ethics and standards of excellence I have personally encountered in the design and building profession. My wife and I have nothing but positive accolades for Erlandsson Design.

BEID provided good counsel on overall project planning and created building design concepts for a proposed mixed-use development. Unfortunately the project did not get past the concept phase but working with them up to that point was a joy. I was very impressed by their willingness to take the time to understand the market and listen to my perspectives as the client/developer. They've got very well educated tastes, international sensibilities and terrific client relations. Highly recommended.

Design consultant .Lloyd is great very helpful and knowledgeable.He has excellent taste and was able to work within my budget. He was easy to reach and responsive.I had a painting disaster and Lloyd offered ideas and solution to my paint nightmare.

2013 was a major milestone for me!! I was moving from a more grandiose home to a cozy, patio home that I dearly loved but I quickly realized there were new decorating challenges. When one enters into my home and stands in the foyer the dining and living room are visible, I immediately recognized the importance in having a very beautiful, distinctive chandelier. I needed what I call a "showstopper"! Although I live out of state, Kansas, I contacted Bengt Erlandsson Interior Design for the help I needed in finding the right chandelier. They performed - they found the one I absolutely love - handled all of the shipping details - my electrician hung it, and I am thrilled. It is the magnificent "showstopper" I wanted and all of my friends and family agree. My next project is the master bedroom and bath and they will be the one I contact.
