From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were truly exceptional. They were receptive to our ideas and completed aspects of the project that other cabinet makers didn't want to do. Beyond their skills and efficiency, Maytain Cabinets are a pleasure to work with. Their friendly and pleasant demeanor and Norm's great communication made the entire experience enjoyable and extremely satisfying. I have used MAYTAIN Cabinets for the last 20 years for various rooms in the house including new kitchen, bathroom cabinets and built in wardrobes. They have also provided a excellent quality budget kitchen for a rental property we have which was cheaper and better quality than the equivalent with Ikea. Installations have always been on time and they have been very patient with me changing my mind as I took advantage of the many options available once I looked at their showrooms and took many samples home. We have found their work to be of the highest standard and the owners and team to be of the highest integrity. I am about to use them again for a mini makeover ( new bathroom bench top and laundry )as trends and fashion change so too does our house.Its also a cost effective way to keep the quality and value in your home.I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Arrived on time for meetings, tradesmen arrived on time to install, workmanship has been excellent. Have used this company for Kitchen renovations in two separate properties and an office/Study rebuild.

We found Maytain Cabinets through houzz and other people's reviews - so thanks very much, as our experience with this company has been brilliant from the very beginning. To give some context, we were looking to either replace our existing kitchen or create a new kitchen in the adjoining room in our Queenslander. I emailed Maytain and was contacted within an hour - all along, all contact has been really prompt and efficient; not to mention unfailingly professional and courteous. Norm came out to our house several times. He spent a great deal of time with us, helping us to figure out the best plan in terms of the basic question of where to put the kitchen. I was struck by how generous Norm was with his time given that, at this point, we hadn't signed a contract. Then, he helped us to come up with a design that gave us even more than we had hoped for given the constraints of the space. Norm always listened to our ideas, and kept our family's needs in relation to the new kitchen in mind. Norm manages to be both extremely professional, as well as friendly. He was great at coming up with creative solutions to get us everything we wanted from our kitchen - in a room with only one full wall! One of the many things we appreciated about Norm was his honesty - whether it was telling us where we could save money, or talking us through the likely disadvantages of one of our ideas. We genuinely felt like he wanted us to have the most functional and attractive kitchen that we could have. We really valued Norm's honesty - I think there are far too many professionals who are happy to just nod and agree with all the clients' ideas (even when they can see that there are likely to be problems) and take their money. Maytain isn't like that - they strike me as a company that has integrity; takes real pride in the work that they do; and gets enormous satisfaction from their clients' reactions to the finished product. Norm's enormous experience in designing and building kitchens is obvious. We have benefited hugely from that. For example, Norm would look over the appliance quotes, and give us really useful feedback about what we were thinking about choosing - again, there was a sense that he wanted our kitchen to be the best it could possibly be. No detail was too small for his attention. Everyone that we have interacted with at Maytain has been unfailingly professional and friendly. Lisa at the front desk is a pleasure to deal with. Brett was in charge of our installation, which was done in less than 2 days. The pride he takes in his work is clear. He was fantastic - hard working, efficient and a perfectionist. Also great with our kids and generally just really easy to have around. All of Maytain's deadlines were met. Communication (verbal and written) around budgets and timelines was always clear. Everything about working with Maytain has felt easy. I thought I was going to feel overwhelmed by all the decisions to be made, but Norm helped us to break it down into very 'do-able' chunks. They obviously have excellent relationships with the electricians and plumber that they recommended (though we were free to find our own people if we had wanted to do this), as well as with the staff at Winnings appliances. The quality of the cabinetry is amazing. We love our new kitchen and cannot thank Maytain enough. We're looking forward to working with them in the new year to convert the old kitchen into a dining room. And I'm looking forward to Norm and Brett getting to see the finished kitchen (we're just waiting on the bench tops) - because I know they will get a buzz out of seeing the final product and seeing how very happy we are with it - it's really obvious that the clients' reactions and feelings matter to these guys. Then, saving up again to re-do a bathroom and laundry. We can't recommend Maytain highly enough.

Maytain provided superb service. Excellent advice, both on practical and aesthetic detail, seamless co-ordination of installation of their own product, together with associated trades eg, electricians, plumbers etc. I felt at all times during the process that my concerns and requirements were closely listened to. My kitchen renovation was a most positive experience when under construction and in its final result. Highly recommend this company.

We used Maytain to design, construct and install the kitchen for our new home. We could not be happier with the end result. Norman was friendly and professional throughout the entire process as were his staff. He met with me in his showroom and went through the options for our kitchen. He patiently explained the pro's and cons of each of the options. Once we had designed the kitchen that I wanted, and would best suit my requirements, he quickly drafted up plans and was able to step me through them. He was happy to provide advice and work with me to make any changes that I wanted done. He worked in with the builder to ensure that the kitchen was installed on time. I would happily recommend Maytain to do any cabinetry work. I am just disappointed that my builder did not get them to do the bathrooms as well!

Maytain was our first call for our new kitchen renovation we intended to have 3 quotes for this reno but after meeting Rob and his natural professionalism and knowledge of kitchens we did not bother going anywhere else. His ideas were modern and fitted in with our plans. You can read a lot of kitchen books but basically you need someone like Rob who knows the business well. It was actually his website that drew our attention at first. He gave great advice on colour, handles for cupboards, lighting and more. His vision and ideas became our beautiful kitchen and we are very happy with the end result.
