I hired Corey and his team to build a wood deck for my house. They demolished the existing deck and made the new one larger. They did an amazing job. It took 3 days. They arrived early each day and completed the deck promptly. They left the yard spotless and delivered on all that they said they would do. I am extremely impressed. Do not hesitate to call McMichael Interiors. Very professional and excellent workmanship. I will definitely call them again in the future.

After interviewing about 10 contractors, I decided to to choose this company, McMichael Interiors. Scouring the internet, I only found one bad review but thought one bad review should not be the decisive factor. I was more going with my gut at the moment for it seemed like a family orientated business and the owner seemed honest. I should have put more thought into the bad review I read. At first things started off fine; however, as it got closer to the completion of our basement (which took more than the promised 8 weeks of completion timeline), the owner made tons of mistakes which included installing the wrong counter top for the kitchen. They also left portions of the job uncompleted which included the unfinished installment of the fire place. If it was just the mistakes, as we are all human, i could have been a bit more forgiving but what made matters worse was the sheer unprofessional-ism....especially from the owner's son who was rude and obnoxious towards us. Things became sour towards the end for when we started to challenge them on the mistakes they made and the agreements they did not meet, instead of apologizing and trying to make it right, we were met with an attitude of "how dare we complained about anything". Also after all the work was completed, and we found a leak due to faulty workmanship.....they made no effort to try to make things right after I contacted them to make them aware, This is a genuine review from a customer. It can be a very tough decision when trying to find a good contractor. I've learned the hard way and i hope this post can help even one person....just always read the reviews carefully and always try and get referrals/reference from family, friends or other persons you trust. If I could do it all over again, I would not have chosen this company.

Good work but the wood used on my deck was horrible. Dozens of attempts to follow up and promises on several occasions that they would come to remedy the situation and they never did. The deck was unusable due to split wood and I will need to have this wood replaced before I can let my daughter use and enjoy the deck.
