John was able to sell 2 properties for us. They were estate properties and he had to keep in touch with 3 personal representatives none of whom lived in D.C. where the properties were. He made all the paperwork easy to process for us and represented us at each of the closings. He was always available to ask questions from and was patient with all our questions. No matter what complications came up he handled them with true professionalism. I would highly recommend him.

I haven't had the best experience with Real Estate agents but John is truly an exception. After putting my house on the market with another real estate agent and having virtually no interest, I took it off the market, fired him and hired John. Within a couple of weeks we had it back on the market and it sold within 6 hours!! Not only that, but the offer came in at $15,000 above asking price!! Let me repeat that: It sold within 6 hours of being listed at $15,000 more than asking price! No kidding, one amazing offer! Why did this happen? Because, John is brilliant. We made some updates based on his recommendations and we got our money back three fold....Not only that but he made my life so easy because he took care of so many things. I didn't have to take off of work because he would meet various people at the house who needed access, I am so grateful I found him. There is a reason why he receives 5 stars. John Young was a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable about the process of home buying and about homes in general. As first time home buyers we had so many questions. John patiently and thoroughly answered every one of them. He is a great agent! John was impressively responsive. I always felt like he was available for us and eager to show us homes. I believe John truly wanted to help find the right home for us. He gave us great advice and was very effective when we made an offer on our home. John is a skilled negotiator who works hard to get the best deal for his clients. The home we bought was explicitly listed "AS IS". That said, John managed to negotiate repairs from the seller after our inspection. His extensive knowledge about home systems was crucial to us when evaluating the homes we saw. His knowledge about home improvements was a nice bonus. I feel as though he helped us make an informed decision, and he made the whole process very straightforward.

John Young and his team were excellent. In my particular case, the sale of my house required many unorthodox hurdles to clear before I could sell. John and his team were there every step of the way. In my opinion, the set-up and prep of the house by John's team led to the house getting a quick contract. We had a contract within one week. Although the first contract fell through, John's continued persistence, follow-up, and professionalism quickly led to the second and final ratified contract. This, along with his excellent negotiation skills quickly led to the ultimate ratified contract. Kudos to John and his Team, Job Well Done!!

Our situation was different than most. We were not there to oversee the sale of the property. But John WAS there. As in - ALL the time! John contacted us constantly to keep us abreast of what was happening - about everything. It was kind of scary selling two homes/condos in the DC area and living in the Boston area. But John made it work! He went well beyond that which was in the contract. I actually felt a little guilty for all the little extra things that he had to do - because we could not get there! He never complained.. We got great offers for each property, and they both sold within five weeks of being listed! So happy with John's services, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a quality broker!

My wife and I decided to sell a home and John was one of three realtors we had a meeting set up to talk with. John was the first of the 3 and after meeting us at our home at a time that was good for us we decided to cancel the meetings with the other two realtors. He put my wife and I at ease. I started talking to us about his experience and his expertise and his track record with selling homes. He didn't make any false of unrealistic promises to us he was completely 100% honest and it was because of that that my wife and I felt very comfortable and going with John and Jeff. After looking over our property and doing some research of it so he told us what he thought he could get for the property ( which was more than my wife and I thought we could get for it) hey listed the property for that exact amount and two weeks later had a written offer for the full asking price. Not only that but we also decided to go with John and Jeff in purchasing a new home. They made themselves available to us and work around our schedule when going out to look at new homes. Whenever we said we wanted to go out they were always available for us and we always went out the day we wanted to go out and saw the homes that we went to see. That was one day in particular that we want to go out which was on a Thursday and that will for houses we wanted to see and unfortunately it was raining really heavy that day. Just met us at the first property and we told him then that we could always just reschedule since it was such a crappy day but he said no it was fine and we saw all four properties that day. ( he did not even have an umbrella). My wife and I found a property that we loved and John got the property for us for under list price. I don't want to ramble on but there are a lot of little things and not so little things in between meeting John and finally closing on our house that John and Jeff did throughout the process that let you know that they really care. I would recommend John and a heartbeat to any of my family and friends that are looking to sell or buy a home. If you are looking to buy or sell a home I highly recommend that you at least talk to John first before you make any decision on anyone else.

OMG...John is so much more than just a realtor. He truly goes out of his way at every turn. We decided to list our house on a Thursday afternoon...he had the photographer there the next day, open house on Sunday, and a full price offer waiting Monday morning! Then to top that, he found a perfect home for us....and our list was extensive. The house we bought wasn't even on the market, but with John's skills we were able to buy it with no competition in a very competitive market. John and Jeff truly go above and beyond, are super flexible and understanding, and will work until all parties are pleased. This team is a winner for sure! You won't go wrong with them!
