Working with Martha Huk on a total home project in London, ON forever changed my experience with home renovations. Hands down, she is the most organized, creative and hard working entrepreneur that I have ever met. She approached our project with enthusiasm and the outcome reflected the highest quality of workmanship I could have imagined. We had regular bi-weekly meetings where she provided details of the current budget, work completed and upcoming milestones. She also outlined where we needed to make decisions which was effortless with 3D renders. Martha has earned every award and accolade she’s received to date! The folks at Hedgeford & Berkley are top-notch. We consider ourselves very lucky to have had Hedgeford & Berkley transform our interior which was stuck in the 80's into something warm and inviting while on a limited budget. If you want something unique and stylish - Martha is your designer! She has a gift for seeing how all the pieces fit together. We generally have a hard time envisioning concepts, but Martha uses 3D rendering software that brings her designs to life. The final walk-through is bang-on (or better) to what the renderings first showed. We've been through a few renos of our own, and each one has its challenges; surprises behind the walls, furniture on back-order or other hiccups along the way. Martha comes with solutions and not problem after problem taking much of the stress away. She's an excellent communicator. Lastly, her team of professionals are experienced, work quickly and use top-of-the-line materials for an expert finish. We hope we can have Hedgeford & Berkley work on more projects with us in the future.

We’ve worked with Martha on a number of jobs including kitchens, furniture, built-in cabinetry, and commercial work. She has incredible vision and is always open to incorporating new ideas. We worked with Martha to design and create our dream home; from the start we couldn’t help but question her forward designs, thinking it was too over the top. But the end results are something than can only be described as jaw dropping. Communication was prompt and she never made a decision on a whim. It was alway reassuring to hear “let me think about it” as she calculated every end result to give that wow factor, but still respected budget. Martha once said that every single room needs one feature to truly stand out, she not only accomplished just that but tied it all together for a house that’s beyond anything we could have come up with on our own.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to work with Hedgeford & Berkley on a large-scale interior design for our home. We were running up against problems with existing contractors and Hedgeford & Berkley not only saved our project, but created a design that we absolutely loved. Throughout the design process, she took 2D plans and made them come to life through 3D renderings. This really helped us to conceptualize key areas in our home. Hedgeford & Berkley far surpassed any expectations we had. She poured over countless options and selections for every space and was able to so skillfully narrow down choices for us so that we never felt overwhelmed. Undoubtedly this took a huge amount of time, yet right up until the last decision, Martha left no stone unturned and insisted that she didn’t finish until we were completely pleased with the design. We have received so many compliments from both friends and tradespeople on the spaces that Martha helped to create. It is unusual to come across such integrity, honesty, and exceptional skill in a design firm and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking at doing a renovation or build of any scale.

Martha met with us right away to find out about our style preferences, wants, needs, and ideas, and from there, she and her team created our dream home. I can't come up with enough words to describe how awesome Martha is! I hired her for a reno/design project in my new home, after seeing firsthand another job she had completed for a friend. I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure she could work with my tastes, but she somehow managed to get into my head and bring to life ideas I didn't even know I had. She was extremely professional and went over and beyond what I expected. Despite my project being done remotely, she was always available to field questions and keep the project on track. Her strong attention to detail and pure talent combines to create results that are simply exceptional. This was my first time working with a designer and she truly made the process stress free for me. It's been three months since we finished my project, and hardly a day goes by when my house does not bring a smile to my face, and I credit that to Martha. It goes without saying that she is the only designer I plan to work with going forward. Best decision ever!

Hedgeford & Berkley took our unfinished basement from a drab, empty space to a ‘magazine spread’ beautiful yet functional location that the entire family enjoys! Their design vision was absolutely stunning and perfectly executed by meticulous and tireless staff. Hedgeford & Berkley recently completed the build of a world-class private recording studio/ lounge project for me. The project was intense. I had hired and fired two teams for the same project before coming to H&B; the project was complex and immensely important to me. However, Martha and I connected immediately, she understood intrinsically how meaningful this studio was to me and approached it with a huge amount of care, patience and passion. Working with such a creatively focused team was crucial to the development of my project. The energy and willpower that H&B brings to the table is unparalleled. Long days went into making sure that installs were perfect. Not once did anyone suggest foregoing the plan and choosing an easier route. In fact, they often did the opposite. For example, they researched and installed better smart-lighting than I requested, they found unique ways to address sound diffusion issues, they installed an intricate Ash-wood bench instead of a standard bench... the list goes on. This team thrives on creating next level designs and their attention to detail is impeccable. The final space they created for me is a testament to that. Each piece of the reno was uniquely designed, my guests are hugely impressed from the moment they walk in. I have personally worked in studios all over the world, from celebrities personal studios to commercial facilities. I'm 100% confident when I say that H&B have created one of the the most beautiful studios in the world for me. Thank you Martha/ H&B for the love and energy you guys put into this. I cannot recommend your team enough, and I cannot wait to bring you guys in on future projects for me.
