MATTHEW KRIER - Design Group Three - Milwaukee

Design Group Three has done multiple projects for us - master bath remodel, new windows and a new front door. They did an excellent job on all three projects. They excel in design and planning of the project, suggestions on choices, communication on any issues or delays, and quality of their workmanship. All of their employees were friendly, on time, and always did their best to keep the construction mess to a minimum. We highly recommend Design Group Three.

Matt served as the lead architect on our kitchen remodel and window replacements on 1st floor. We live in an old house which made both projects more complicated. Throughout the process Matt always made time to meet with us and accommodate adjustments on the fly, including approval by the village design review board. We are thrilled with the final result!

What fun it was to work with a pleasant and talented group at Design Group Three. I was sorry when it was over so recommended them to my son and daughter-in-law for their kitchen/family room big make over. Results were beautiful and the people we worked with were patient and creative. I can't wait to think of a new project for DG3.

Matt redesigned our master suite and we are thrilled with the final outcome. After exhausting our efforts with multiple other design-build firms, we finally found Matt at Design Group Three who listened to our needs and came up with an amazing design that was the creative solution we desperately needed to remain in our home. Matt reconfigured both of our upstairs bathrooms and the new layout has provided so much more space, we love it!

Matt was excellent to work with and made all our design goals come to fruition. He was able to navigate the challenges presented by a home built in 1936 and his designs made it possible to maintain the integrity of the period style of the home, while simultaneously making our newly renovated space feel modern and functional. He also was very proactive and communicative while dealing with challenging supply chain issues.

We recently added a four-seasons room to our house and Matt Krier was our designer. If you happen to have Matt as your architect you are most fortunate indeed. Matt designed a beautiful, efficient add-on that perfectly met our requirements and is a striking improvement to the curb appeal to our home. Matt is also terrific with his customers, patient and eager to answer our hundreds of questions (sometimes twice) and spent a lot of time on-site to follow the progress of our progress to completion. We've asked Matt to work on our next big project and have full confidence it will be just as stunning.

Working with Matt was great from start to finish. In our first meeting, he was sketching possible designs within minutes and showed real excitement about our project. Design, communication, and execution all were fantastic throughout our remodel, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Matt designed our kitchen and bathroom renovations. We were impressed with his work and did not hesitate to choose him again for another project - an addition to our historic home. He is quick to respond to questions, very thorough, and always professional. We love his designs and his attention to detail. We had a great experience with Matt Krier and the team at Design Group Three. We met with a couple design groups / contractors and Matt and DG3 communicated better than their competitors and provided us with the best initial experience - which is why we continued with them. We converted a guest bedroom into a master bath and laundry, and a walk-out porch into our master bedroom. Matt's design was the most cohesive, and his thoughtful approach was appreciated. We lived in our home (with a 2-year-old) during the renovation and got to know the carpenters well - Kayla and Robert are amazing carpenters and humans. They were incredibly considerate and respectful of our living space, and we enjoyed greeting them every weekday morning at 7:30am. As for the final product - we love our new bathroom, laundry room and master bedroom. The update has improved the quality of our life - which was our goal as this was a big investment. We appreciate DG3's detailed work - after living in the space for over 6 months, we are very aware of all of the thought Matt & team put into this design project. The project ended close to the pandemic shut down in March, so our punch list did not get completed until about June - by our choosing. We highly recommend working with Matt, Robert and Kayla at Design Group 3.
