Ecowalls

Ecowalls came recommended by our builder when we were trying to figure out what to do in our wine room. Initially we were planning to use rock but decided to look into other options. After meeting Patrick and seeing what he could do, our choice was made easy. The round walls and difficult to access areas made plaster the obvious choice; not to mention the most reasonably priced. From creating distressed walls to having a wide choice of colours to delivering on our vision, Patrick transformed our wine room into exactly what we were hoping for. The finished product made us feel like we were in Italy. Patrick was able to meet our deadlines despite us pushing back the start date on him. We highly recommend Ecowalls for the quality of their work, the options they gave us and their professionalism.

We are really happy with the clay application Ecowalls did on the fireplace in our new house. We had struggled with the building decision to install a gas vs wood burning fireplace. The clay application gave us the organic and grounded look and feel we were after, while still having the convenience of a gas fireplace. Patrick was extremely helpful (and patient) in guiding us through the process of choosing the best product, texture and colour options to achieve what we had invisioned. He was professional, communicative, committed and obviouolsy loves what he does. His project prep, application and clean up were meticulous and his fee reasonable considering the skill and time consuming work involved. We have had lots of positive feedback from people who have seen the fireplace and would highly recommend Ecowalls to anyone interested in giving their house the unique and earthy feel (and benefits) of clay walls or a feature like our fireplace.

We have chosen Ecowalls for a number of projects both in our residence and commercial space. For many of those projects, we let Patrick have full creative design reign other than colour chosen. Each and every time I am left in awe, and with a full appreciation of Patrick as an artist and as a craftsman. There have been moments where I doubted his vision in the middle of projects and as he pitched his ideas. But I will never question his process ever again. We love working with someone who shares a love of natural materials and the traditional techniques that bring such beauty to our spaces. We also appreciate the respect of space that Ecowalls has. He leaves each space cleaner than it was before he started. We look forward to the next time we can call on his service.

I wanted something different than paint in my dinning room. I have 25' ceilings and wanted the WOW factor. I was introduced to Patrick Allard and his Eco Wall company by a friend. I loved the choice of colour, texture he could provide and of course the option to have mica added to give the walls shimmer. The project was finished on time and on budget, I am so pleased with he results we are looking at adding it to other parts of our home, not just for the effect but how much calmer the area feels. I work in the high-rise industry and have seen many products, I highly recommend this one

Patrick takes care in meeting your dreams and expectations! He listened carefully to what I wanted and feeling I was searching for. He tweaked my vision to suit the space and lighting, I couldn't be happier...well, only if I could have done the whole house!

Patrick created two stunning 20' feature plaster walls for our home. Everyone who has seen them has been astonished by how beautiful and unique they are. We spent many hours together discussing the process in order to get it exactly as I'd been picturing it. Patrick was incredibly patient. Ecowalls applied American Clay to two baths, and our master bedroom in our home on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was hard work and done very well. it makes a great impression. There is a lot of humidity here and it was not unusual to get a little condensation on the walls during a long hot shower. Patrick and his team were great. We are loving our new wall. He was fast, prompt, detailed and would only settle for perfection. The wall added incredible warmth and has become a standout piece in our home.

I want you to know that we continue to love and admire our plaster walls. All of our visitors love it as well. Thanks for a making such a beautiful addition to our home. My vision was to have walls that were made of a natural substance, that showed texture and energy with an artistic flare. The exposed concrete walls we were expecting in our new condo had been covered in a cement-like substance that did not come anywhere close to my vision. The depth, texture, colour and uniqueness had been completely covered and changed to a dull, plain, one-dimensional covering. I now have walls and columns that are the feature of each room. Each one is unique from the other. All have colour, dimension, depth, and organic texture in a safe, natural product. Everything from the look, the feel and the aroma are beautiful. It’s always a concern when working with a contractor or when commissioning an artistic piece, that there will be difficulty in communicating expectations or reaching a solid understanding of what I hope to see in the finished product. After my first meeting with Patrick, I felt I had been heard and that he would carefully apply his skill and artistic talents to my project. He seemed to understand me immediately. I felt a real sense of awe with what Patrick created for me in my home. My expectations were exceeded. I love my limestone plaster. They make a beautiful and unique statement. Patrick demonstrated strong integrity in his work. No short cuts were taken. Every question was answered. Patrick brought his A game every day. I know of no other person with Patrick’s skill in plaster work. He was very flexible, although I must say, I did not interfere with his creative process. We provided the space to work in, the colours of the plaster and our expectation that the work would show depth and energy. Patrick did the rest! He was on time every day and worked as long as it took to achieve the day’s objectives. I would absolutely recommend anyone to work with ecowalls, without hesitation.
