Über uns

Neil Dhillon has lived his life in the shadow of the spotlight. For more than 30 years, this man has been involved in a wide range of political processes and helped to shape the careers of many who have, in turn, shaped our nation's recent history. However, the man himself is not known to many outside the rather small world of political strategy and analysis. While he works behind the scenes, others take center stage. However, his work in the fields of public relations, strategy and thought leadership have made him a pivotal player in the national and international political scene. He began his love affair with public policy and how it affects the population of America when he took his initial degree in Political Science in 1984 from The American University in Washington, D.C. He had always been interested in government and how it worked; now, he was going to have a chance to work firsthand within the confines of the political world and begin the career that would eventually launch him to the top of his field, making him one of the most important political analysts and contributors of his time. From relatively humble beginnings, he began the work that would later be noted as game-changing in and around Washington. Neil Dhillon ( https://twitter.com/neildhillon6) was soon hired by Congressman Bob Matsui to work in his Washington, D.C., office. He began his work there in 1984, shortly after his graduation, and continued to work with the staff for nearly 10 years, helping to define and develop the policies that would place Matsui into prominence in the House of Representatives. By 1988, he had become the Chief of Staff of Matsui's organization, becoming one of the youngest and most prominent members of a crowded organization in a position that many others waited years to achieve. At the time, it was almost unheard of for such a young man to rise to such a position in that short time, but he was no ordinary staffer, a fact Bob Matsui quickly recognized. He moved quickly on in 1993 to the White House, a move that was not unanticipated by those who knew and appreciated this talents. He was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of Government Affairs at the United States Department of Transportation by then-President Bill Clinton. Neil Dhillon is a recognized expert in thought leadership, the art of discerning what, among the myriad pieces of information and opinion, is of value and focusing on that data.
