We renovated our place with Nic & Wes 7 to 8 years ago. Recently 2 of our floor tiles popped up and due to COVID-19, the tilers I approached rejected the job due to limited manpower. I turned to Nic & Wes for a contact and to my surprise, Brian the owner himself contacted me. He arranged a visit within the next few days to look at the tiles and sent a team down to fix it within the next week. And when I asked for a quote, he told me that he would cover it! This is going above and beyond customer service especially during this period when everyone is short on renovation crew. I am deeply impressed and highly recommend Nic & Wes for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy renovation company.

The experience from building our home from start to finish with Nic & Wes has been nothing but a hassle-free and pleasant journey. Since the beginning, Brian, the Managing Director of Nic & Wes showed genuine intentions to help us home-owners to build our dream home. Moreover, he puts in effort to establish a bond based on trust – with us. He was there, during and even after the process of building our home. In summary, Brian bothers to keep in contact with us as friends – and not just building a relationship with us for business purposes. The exterior design development of our dream home by their in-house designer (Laisee) has earned us many flattering compliments from family, friends and even strangers who walk by. Furthermore, their interior designer (Regine) has always accompanied us patiently to meticulously assist us in narrowing down options – from choosing tiles – to bathroom accessories. Regine was always there to ensure that the compatibility and aesthetic aspects of the house design was aligned. In addition, staff from Nic & Wes such as Somu, Arul, Kumar, Eileen and William are always ready to render a hand whenever we need it. They would always give us suggestions and recommendations based on their expertise to ensure that we get our dream home with quality materials. These are just some of the many positive experiences that we have gotten from Nic & Wes in these 3 and a half years’ journey in building our dream home. The final outcome of our beautiful home was exactly what we have imagined. The journey was made much simpler and smoother with Nic & Wes. Nic & Wes were hired to renovate our recently purchased terrace house. We are completely satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them for similar projects. They excelled in 3 key areas: 1. Detail and transparency of their quote. The work was clearly spelled out, costs were clear and timelines were transparent. 2. Professionalism and quality of the work and and the workers. Not only was the work of high quality, the diligence and professionalism of the team was very high. They were always on time and the pride in their work was evident. 3. Adaptability and Cooperation. Over the course of a 5 month project, issues will arise and design changes occur. The Nic & Wes team were helpful in both their ability to accommodate the changes, but make helpful suggestions to avoid costs or avoid structural issues. This is the second time that I engaged Nic and Wes with my Renovation as I was very pleased with the work done on my first Reno of my office. Nic and Wes provided professional advices and solutions to creating a comfortable home for me and my family with their excellent workmanship. Special thanks to Askae Loh, working with him made the whole renovation process a breeze. Though we had a very short timeframe to completing the Reno, he managed to complete before the stipulated timeframe which gave us ample time to move in. Always accommodating to requests and he made sure that everything was done up to our standard. He is very handson and even goes out of his way to completing task that is not within his job scope. I would highly recommend Nic and Wes to anyone who is looking to renovate their place.

I requested an appointment with the company as we have 2 five-room flats needing renovation works and made an appointment with Askae on 11th June. He was lukewarm at best during the appointment and hardly made any notes or markings on the floor plan that we gave him. At the end of the meeting, he said he needed some time to prepare the quotation as he was quite busy at the moment. It has been one month. Not a word from him. We have since engaged a contractor and hacking works are underway. However I decided to leave this review because I want to stop such behaviors. If you don't want a piece of business, have the decency to call back. When the customer takes the time to contact you and had a meeting, you should have good manners to end the relationship well.

It is my pleasure to write this unsolicited letter of recommendation. Nic and Wes was the general contractor for a home improvement project on the interior of my HDB Flat in 2014. While major remodeling is inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, their services as a general contractor were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final result. Project manager used subcontractors who were knowledgeable, skilled, and competent in their respective trades. They were conscientious about following project specifications, and their work product rarely needed refinements. 2. Strong organizational skills and commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled Nic and Wes to juggle the extensive details involved in our project without missing a beat. 4. Working within the agreed budget was a strength of Nic and Wes. Alternative solutions was always offered during escalating renovation cost of unforeseen events. Very pleased with what Nic & Wes did to transform our house into a home we truly enjoy living in. Right from conceptualizing to execution, these guys pay attention to what we want and not what they think we want. If it didn't come out right according to plan, they will ensure it's rectified and very responsive to any concerns. Even my neighbors had compliments about how tidy and professional the workers are !
