We first hired Overland Remodeling several years back for a bathroom remodel. Overland gave us great design ideas, was responsive to our ideas and suggestions, and the owner met us at several product suppliers offering good ideas on which products best served out needs. In early Covid, we hired Overland again to do a garage remodel. The work was, once again, top notch. Finally, this summer we hired Overland to do a complete kitchen remodel. Overland met with us to create a design, guided us in the purchase of kitchen appliances, countertop and tile, flooring, doors, and lighting. We are ecstatic with how our kitchen turned out. It has totally transformed our home. We highly, highly recommend Overland. Their quality of their work is impeccable, is done on budget and on-time, and in a friendly manner.

We worked with Overland Builders on the renovation of our kitchen and dining room following a very unfortunate leak. We were impressed with Shahar from our very first meeting. At every step of the way, he was well-prepared, organized and communicative. His estimates in terms of cost and timing were clear and fair and he was always quick to respond to our questions. We had interviewed a number of contractors and felt most comfortable and confident having Shahar in charge. He and his team did a wonderful job on our kitchen, which included removing several walls (one of which load-bearing), removing damaged cabinetry and flooring, redesigning the new space and then building it all from the ground up (and handling everything that came with that - electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, painting, etc). He and his subcontractors ensured the work was done right and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results!

We worked with Shahar to completely remodel a bathroom and laundry room following a damaging leak. In nearly 40 years of home ownership, and 4 prior significant remodeling projects, I've never been more pleased with a contractor. Shahar or his foreman were always quick to communicate and were clear about both costs and time. I was pleased with the quality of the work of the subcontractors, and Shahar had one return several times until I was satisfied with the job. I've recommended Overland to several friends.

My rental property had severe water damage in the bathroom, alcove and downstairs. Getting the work done required coordination with the city for permits and State Farm for insurance coverage. Dealing with those two entities required immense patience. They dragged the process out for 8 months while Shahar’s friendly team completed the work in less than 3 weeks. Shahar was patient and flexible. I noticed that Shahar has an eye for detail, unlike other contractors. While the estimate was not the lowest that I received, I have learned, that you get what you pay for. My mother and I have also utilized Shahar’s plumbing services as he is a reliable licensed plumber in addition to being a trustworthy contractor.

I hired Shahar and his team to do a complete interior renovation of my 1912 Craftsman - new dry wall throughout, flooring, complete kitchen and master bathroom renovation and extensions, newly engineered roof... You name it, we did it. The results were absolutely stunning. He and his team are also an absolute pleasure to work with. Shahar is professional, honest and kind. I've already told him that we're going to be long time friends. I want to do the exterior next!

He met all of my needs: from helping me design the remodel, to shopping with me for counter top, vanity, floor, appliances, to supervising the work, and even came back a year later to do some touch up. We hired Shahar for a major remodel of the first floor of our condo, including a redesigned kitchen and bathroom. Shahar was a consummate professional from the beginning to the end. He was very engaged and helpful in every aspect of the project, from overall design to choosing fixtures and finishes and of course overseeing construction. Shahar is honest and detail-oriented. We had a great experience working with Shahar. Living two hours away from the project, we needed someone we could trust to get the job done in our absence and chose Shahar because he listened well, took detailed notes at every meeting, and showed great organization skills. He also had a plumbing background which was vital for the changes we needed at the house. The demo revealed a few problems so the project took longer than expected, but we realized that possibility going in. Shahar understood our vision, listened to our ideas, but also didn't hesitate to add his expert advice, helping us to make the right choices and keeping us from making costly mistakes. He also led us to suppliers who helped us work within our budget. During the project, we met many of his subs and found them just as friendly and helpful. The whole time we felt a good vibe from Shahar's team and a lot of mutual respect. At the end, everyone worked quickly to get all the little details finished and completed to our liking. No project is without issues but it's how a company deals with those issues that counts the most and we found this to be one of Shahar's strengths. Overall, the project went smoothly and we attribute it to the constant communication we had with Shahar and his willingness and desire to create something of quality. We've had nothing but compliments from all who have entered the house. We would definitely work with Shahar again.

Working with Shahar and his team has been a breeze and an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I was so nervous because you always hear horror stories about remodeling taking twice as long as you want and then hidden costs. Well I had NONE of those issues. They finished the job a couple of days BEFORE the date they promised me and on the budget Shahar gave me from the beginning. Shahar came with me to showrooms to pick out the best materials and was always on hand to discuss ideas and styles. He has great taste, is approachable and very professional. His team were great too–friendly professional people who work at speed and were always helpful and responsive. Shahar had a site manager overseeing things all the time and Shahar gave me updates and met with me anytime I had questions. The work itself is fantastic. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. Shahar and his team gave me an entirely new bathroom, completely swapped out all the flooring throughout the house and gave me new kitchen counters and backsplash. He took the most sensible, budget-friendly route to giving my house the facelift it needed. Shahar was always looking for ways to save me money too, while making my house look the best it can look. I've had many, many compliments! In short, I was so impressed, I will recommend him to anyone who will listen!

My friend, Gail (see her review below) was looking for contractors the same time we were. She recommended we meet Shahar. From that first meeting, the tone was set for our full job. Shahar and his crews are punctual, detailed, precise, creative and helpful. We bought a 1941 home and did a full interior rehab including moving walls around to dramatically reshape rooms.. Shahar helped us firm up our vision and achieve our objectives. We worked through some choices to manage cost and the delivery of the work, just finished, has been excellent. Estimated time was 75 days. We finished in 90 and that included some extra time to do additional work (like replacing ancient heat ducts while the ceiling was open).
