Don We are so pleased with our new home on Lake Winnipesaukee. The home is magnificent. The Adirondack style and details are exceptional. Having been through construction of our primary home in the recent past with a “spec” type builder, I can tell you the experience was like night and day. The process with you was very collaborative and open. Each time we suggested changes, they were received well and implemented flawlessly. I have worked with Don since 1995 when he built an addition/mudroom which included knotty pine cabinets’ recessed lighting in a knotty pine ceiling. It came out beautiful and in budget. Don once again did some emergency work for me in 1999 when we had a roof collapse on a cottage. The space is now a "showroom". Currently Don is doing work renovating a cottage. We ran into a disaster with rot and carpenter ants. Don just smiled and said "I anticipated some issues and I have you covered in the estimate" I continue to work with Don because he is trustworthy, confident, skilled, un- phased by unexpected obstacles, and reliable. He spends my money as if it were his own, always giving me options.

We have used this firm on a continuing basis to perform significant restoration, remodeling and preservation of a historically significant post and beam house on a well known island in Lake Winnipesaukee. The work that has been done includes (but is not limited to) re-roofing, replacement of major structural components, which had decayed over long years, removal and replacement of architecturally correct window systems and exterior features such as decks and railings. Further, Pangburn did a masterful removal and replacement of a rather famous 80 year old pedestrian bridge, together with the restoration of associated stone work, such that no visual distinction can be made between the old and the new, but the latter now consists of superior materials, assembled with modern techniques that will stand the test of time. The project date data is from 2005 to present.

Don Pangburn completed an extensive project for me after my home experienced significant water damage due to a faulty plumbing fixture. Work included carpentry, electrical, drywall, plaster, painting and installing new counter tops. Don is a craftsman and does outstanding work, is very knowledgeable about all aspects of residential construction and is very honest. I will continue to use Don for projects at my home and would recommend him for any type of residential construction.
