We retained Patrick to assist with planning for an addition to our kitchen. Patrick was timely, easy to deal with and his charges were very fair. We had some unique issues with our project and Patrick was very thoughtful and creative in his approach. He is a careful listener and was always responsive and easy to deal with. His work product is excellent. He was very helpful in communicating with the City relating to any questions they had about our project. We would recommend him without any hesitation.

We hired Patrick to design our custom dream home for us in Bend Or. Patrick took great care in listening to our wants and needs, which turned our vision into a reality. I began working with Patrick in late 2019 on the redesign of my 1970's era home. His process was very straight forward, we had an initial meeting and walk through at my home where we discussed current pain points, ideas and goals of the future space. He took field measurements and within a few weeks I was able to review the initial design. Patrick was referred to us by our builder, Mike Arnett/Lifestyle Homes to design a new build for our lot in Sisters, OR. Patrick was very attentive, listened to what we were trying to achieve in the new design, what we loved about our current home, and what we wanted to change. He offered design ideas from his experience, and has been great to bounce ideas off of. He was extremely patient with our updates, and even more patient while working through a difficult and tedious process with our Design Review Committee. Patrick even helped write up responses to them for us for a more professional polish. Besides being very easy to collaborate with, Patrick is extremely personable. Patrick designed our dream home that will be built 2H 2020. The site is in the Willamette Valley wine country, so we had specific ideas we wanted incorporated in the design that worked with the site. Through teamwork with our builder (Pat Huske - Ironwood Homes), Patrick worked with us to come up with a fantastic design. We iterated several times on ideas, moving some walls and making adjustments literally real-time on Zoom video calls. It was a very positive, productive and valuable effort. My wife and I started working with a custom home builder in 2019 to come up with a plan to build a home for us on our small farm in Helvetia (near Hillsboro OR). The home builder does a lot of work with Patrick and recommended we work with him to design our home and come up with the plans that the builder would then work off of. We started working with Patrick and from the beginning he made it a very easy process for us. While he lives in Utah, we are in Oregon and I was skeptical at first how a long-distance design process like that would work. But Patrick was patient and understanding of our questions and concerns and even graciously worked with us as we scrapped the entire first version of the plans and went in a totally different direction. He even came to visit us here in Portland so he could see the property and get a feel for what he had to work with. Patrick did all the research and coordinated the various different companies we needed for things like the geological survey and the engineering plans. We plan to start building in Spring 2021 and are really looking forward to seeing Patrick's plans come to life! Thank you again, Patrick!

I have been working with Patrick on a project in Bend Oregon. My lots are particularly challenging, on a hillside of nearly solid rock with mandatory height restrictions. He has been amazingly creative in working within the parameters on this project and has been super collaborative with me, the engineers, the geo-techs, surveyor and the city of Bend on every step to keep the project moving. I also have to say that his design is well thought out and beautiful! Everyone from the trade contractors to my leasing agent comment on the beauty and design of the project. He is really a gifted designer and a great partner to work with.

Because of our location we were never able to meet Patrick in person. Still, he read through the home owners design requirements, listened to what we wanted and designed our vacation home exactly like we wanted on the first round. Patrick is easy to communicate with and makes requested changes quickly. I would use Patrick again and would recommend him to anyone.

This is the second time we've worked with Patrick and he will undoubtedly continue to be our go-to for future projects. The plans Patrick provided us are first rate. It's a pleasure to work with him, readily providing guidance gleaned from his wealth of knowledge and experience. Well beyond providing the exceptional drawings, he helped me to understand decisions that would need to be made, their implications and the potential obstacles I might encounter with permitting and the like; as well as initiating contact with other key players in the process (engineers, etc.). We've learned that the smallest of projects can be very daunting for those -like myself- unfamiliar with the industry workings, and Patrick proved to be a most valuable asset.
