We hired Stan, Roman and the crew of Portland Hardwoods to install an accent wall of Allwood Rhine River hardwood flooring in our den and the end result is beautiful. We had originally chosen another project that we eventually learned was no longer available so Stan quickly found us a suitable alternative. Once we accepted the bid, the order was placed and everything was ready to go within 2 weeks. Scheduling with Stan was a piece of cake and the actual install itself was successful, thorough, and completed well-ahead of expected. I used Stan and Roman and his team of installers for my strand bamboo flooring. They were very knowledgeable and even came out to my house to do a free consultation and estimate. I couldn't believe that he could remove my carpet for free and haul it away to the dump! All I paid was the dump fee of $75 what a deal! I was made aware from Simple Floors that my strand bamboo flooring was extra hard to install due to the toughness of the product. This means your installer has to work harder to do this correctly. All I can say is that Stan and his crew knew EXACTLY what they were doing and did a perfect job! They were very professional and respectful of my own schedule and comings and goings while the project was going on. It really was a lot easier then I expected. When they were done they cleaned everything up and helped me put my furniture back in place! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are licensed and bonded too! If you want your installation to be done correctly, Portland Hardwoods is the team to use!
