Tom was the general contractor on our home addition and was instrumental in bringing our vision to life. Every idea that we or the architect had, he was able to create, and often enhance, with his artistic sensibility, his attention to detail, and his knowledge of materials. Tom's ability to solve problems that arose on site were also crucial to the success of the renovation. The project was a true collaboration between our architect, Tom and ourselves and it was a pleasure to work with him, from beginning to end. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a contractor who is a true craftsman.

Over an 18-month period, we worked closely with Tom Ptacek in connection with a major construction project at our house. He was the general contractor for construction of a new garage, installation of an underground snow-melt system, construction and paving of a new driveway, and repair and restoration of a large retaining wall. Tom did an excellent job on all phases of this project. His work and that of all of his subcontractors was superb in every respect, and we look forward to continuing to work with him on projects in the future.
