I was drawn to Rande by her portfolio and positive reviews. She’s a wonderful designer who is incredibly easy to work with. The ease was most important to me. My project was large and often overwhelming but Rande was reassuring and kept me focused on our end design goal. She’s an absolute professional whose people skills make her design services all the more worthwhile.

We've loved working with Randy. She listened to our needs and created designs that are timeless vs trendy. We would definitely recommend her to our friends! Our project included a complete main bathroom gut and remodel, living room remodel as well as new floors, doors, closets, and paint throughout the house.

After rebuilding our house, we had no idea how to furnish it. Then we met Rande Leaman!! Rande immediately used her professional eye to create designs for multiple rooms that were cohesive and beautiful. She completely understood our style and what we wanted - even though we didn't! She took the guesswork out of design and made the process simple, efficient and fun. I'm gonna be honest. My fiance and I lived in a mish-mash of our two styles (and in my case, mostly no style at all!) Then we met Rande! From the get go we knew we made the right choice. She was friendly, professional and had fantastic taste. She welcomed our input and made it come to life in a way where finally felt our home was "ours." And being a little "change adverse" myself, not all the changes were massive. Sometimes it was just a touch here and there that made a HUGE difference. On top of that, she connected us with wonderful contractors we never would have had access to, or would have invested months and months chasing. She made it more than stress free. She made it a joy! I had been considering (dreading?) a home renovation for years (decades?). Those I knew who had done it only offered horror stories. I have a stressful job-- they warned me I wouldn't be physically/mentally able to go to work while renovating my aging home. I did my diligence and discovered Rande. You've already read the rave reviews about her exemplary taste and talent but I emphasize the crucial importance of her listening skills. She understands the look you're seeking for your own environment. My project was a complete renovation, a whole new approach, the thought of the myriad decisions I'd need to make was staggering. Rande made what could've been extraordinarily stressful (torturous?) experience into something enjoyable. I can't imagine anyone better to make all of your dream home dreams come true.

Rande has been an asset in our home renovation. She knows the process inside and out, and helped us keep our sanity with all the deadlines and decisions. She did a great job of understanding our taste quickly and giving us choices that we loved, even when my husband and my tastes diverged. She approaches each project with fresh eyes and gives design options unique to that home and client. For us, that meant marrying our new addition with the older original home. I have had the great pleasure of working with Rande Leaman on two remodeling projects now (master bedroom/bathroom and full kitchen gut, dining, living and family room remodel), and it has been an outstanding experience. Initially, Rande has a great eye and impeccable taste. But most importantly, she really listens to you, and therefore her design ideas and specific suggestions are very personal to YOUR home and preferences. She is also sensitive to budget issues, and will not push really expensive choices on you unnecessarily (although she will tell you where it is important to spend a little more money vs where you can save some). Rande also brings so much to the table in experience, understanding of design and regarding remodeling projects more broadly -- making her very skilled at anticipating needs, helping to walk you through the various steps and likely timing of aspects of the project, and being a great manager of the overall project. Rande also is well-connected with great contractors/subcontractors for virtually ever stage of a remodel -- I have had excellent experiences with everyone she brought to work on all aspects of my project. Bottom line, I would unequivocally recommend Rande to anyone seeking a quality designer. Oh, and she is absolutely delightful as a person too, making the whole experience fun and enjoyable.

Rande is amazing!! We were interested in remodeling our kitchen and dining room, as well as refreshing our living room and back bedrooms. We met with several designers before hiring Rande and couldn’t be happier. She is personable, calm, kind, encouraging and insightful, not to mention has a vast expertise in design. Rande is a godsend! My husband and I found Rande on Houzz and met with her while we were in the midst of planning our wedding and needing to do a complete overhaul of our newly purchased fixer upper. We were a bit overwhelmed to say the least. Rande is extremely personable and organized and has wonderful, calm energy. She did a great job in blending our styles together, as well as those of our sons when designing their bedrooms and bathroom. She also kept our contractor on track and made sure that he and his team were meeting our design needs. We loved working with Rande, and everyone was thrilled with the completed project. We specifically worked with Rande to remodel our entire second floor and look forward to working with her on our bottom floor, which will be a major undertaking!

I met Rande after two previous designers didn’t work out. From our first consultation I was blown away. Her ability to pick up on my personal taste and creative vision is incredible. Every item she chose connected with me in a way she couldn’t possibly have known without some level of ESP lol. She’s saved me so much time and money. I no longer spend days/weeks searching for that perfect piece only to realize it doesn’t fit the room dimensions or match once delivered. My job requires my home to be “insta ready” and shared daily with followers. The home is my canvas and sets the stage for the rest of my brand. Initially, Rande was only to furnish one room but after witnessing the amazing transformation and the positive effect on both my business and mental health, I’ve asked her to do the entire house. Unfortunately, some existing structural issues were discovered and now Rande is helping remediate those as well. I’ve never had much luck with contractors. They either ghost me or give a ridiculous estimate 5x the real price. I’m so grateful to have Rande overlook the entire project, be my advocate, make sure everything is done in a timely manner and on budget! She’s also an absolutely wonderful human. I can’t imagine working with anyone else.

I hired Rande to help me pick out and design the interior of my condo in Los Angeles, as I know nothing about design myself. Rande has been patient and flexible. Most importantly she has listened to my needs and picked out looks that match my taste and preferences, rather than impose her own as some designers tend to do. She's been flexible as far as schedule and very conscientious about my budget. The recommendations she has made are helping my place shape up beautifully. Rande was truly amazing to work with. We had hired someone to repaint our entire house. While our house was being prepped, we became unsure about the colors we had selected. I contacted Rande to see if she had any time to consult with us. She basically dropped everything and came to the rescue that very same day. After listening to what we were hoping to achieve and taking a walk throughout all the rooms of the house, she efficiently came up with a color story for our house that was both cohesive and beautiful. The shape and location of our family room has always made it a real challenge for us to furnish, but Rande came up with creative solutions and we couldn't be happier with the result. Taking into account all of our needs, (holiday parties, book club, dogs, tall men) she guided us through making furniture and fabric choices, always being mindful of cost. We highly recommend Rande as an interior designer. We contacted Rande to help us this year when we moved into a new construction from an older traditional home. The new home was fairly stark, with gray floors and white walls. Our old furniture did not fit. Rande spent some time with us getting to know what we like, and then came back with a plan. Rande has an excellent eye for color, texture, and fabric. She provided us ideas and options in a variety of price points, so we could mix and match consistent with our taste. Rande is a consummate professional and delivered as promised, and on budget. . Most importantly, she listens. While she has a creative vision; she is not married to it, and would listen to our feedback and pivot to add other ideas that we had. She has excellent contacts with tradesmen and manufacturers and she handled everything so we had no hassles when it came to deliveries and installation. When there was an issue with a dye lot on a carpet, she jumped on it and had the situation resolved immediately. Rande has turned our new house into a home. We are absolutely thrilled with the results, and will be hiring Rande to help us in the future.

Working with Rande was such a positive experience, and I can't recommend her enough. I was bringing a small, time-sensitive project to her, and she always made me feel like her most important client. I can't say enough about Rande. I just finished a remodel on two bathrooms and a fireplace. Rande made what is usually a nightmare process so easy. She is a great at listening and understanding what a client wants. I get overwhelmed shopping for tile, flooring etc. and Rande understood and brought me several samples to choose from. She made it difficult for me to make choices, because everything worked. Found Rande on the Houzz website. I liked her portfolio. She helped us pick out fabrics for our new furniture,drapes, etc. She is kind and not demonstrative. We love how she put all of this together. You will not go wrong using her expertise.

Rande did a great job for us. We had remodeled our kitchen (using another designer) and were unhappy with the result. We interviewed a number of prospective designers and she was, by far, the most impressive. Rande was empathetic, creative, sensible and, most importantly, she "listened " to us and understood what we were looking for. Where do we start? We have been working with Rande for several months now. Rande is an amazing person and designer. She is so patient and helpful. I am so grateful to have had Rande work with me on updating my 70 year old paneled den. I was totally overwhelmed trying to make choices on my own. We refaced an old brick fireplace and hearth, replaced floors, built new steps, curtains, painted, did electrical upgrades and all new furniture. The works. I get overwhelmed easily when I have too many choices to pick from. Rande was a master at showing me the 3 or 4 perfect pieces of tile, fabric, flooring, etc to choose from. It was such a relief to have such great choices at my fingertips. I used one of the contractors she recommended. She discussed the project in detail with him and was always there to answer any questions the workers had. I am now enjoying my beautiful new den and will be happy to use Rande again for any future projects. As a matter of fact, we did start on the dining room already.

Rande was great to work with. She worked on my dining room, living room, master bedroom, and guest bedroom. At the time being a single male in a new house, I did not have much of a sense for decorating or design. She held my hand through the process, always brought good ideas, and helped develop what little vision I had and turned it into a warm, comfortable home. We finally decided to attack the list of upgrades we've been working on for a decade. After one day of shopping for kitchen backsplash, we realized we were not the "weekend warrior" types, and wouldn't be able to do this alone. I got on Houzz to search for a decorator and didn't see anyone who spoke to me, until Rande. I immediately contacted her, and I'm so happy I did. We have felt so comfortable with her, and so very happy. Our initial meeting was great. She got to know our likes and dislikes, and didn't leave until she felt confident she "got" us. And boy, did she ever!! When we next met she had samples of EVERYTHING we were looking for: Backsplash for the kitchen, stacked stone for the fireplace, rugs for the living room, grass cloth, paint ideas, pictures of light fixtures, window treatments, etc. Things started happening immediately, and she was even very helpful with advice and opinions when we found things on our own. I know for a fact nothing would have gotten started for at least another year if we were on our own. Working with Rande sped that process up, and now, after only a few months, we're days away from having everything we wanted. I know we'll use her for our next projects down the road, and I am truly grateful. The money spent on Rande's expertise, probably saved us thousands of dollars worth of bad choices and wrong moves. I can't say enough good stuff.

Love, love, love what Rande did for our bedroom! The room desperately needed to be updated. Rande's keen eye and great sense of style made all the difference for us. We painted, had new drapes made, replaced old drapery hardware, removed a bulky piece of furniture and hung a tv on the wall. The room is beautiful now - we love it! Thanks again for everything!!

Rande is wonderful! She did a beautiful job designing my new home. She helped with furniture placement and selected many beautiful pieces of furniture including a dining room table, office desk, coffee table, and TV stand. She also picked out an adorable front porch bench. She had pillows made and two chairs recovered that look gorgeous. She also seIected and placed wall hangings. I am a busy working mom, and she would often be at the house to let workers in while I was away- I joked that it felt like elves transformed my home while I was working!

I had the pleasure of working with Rande this past summer and what a dream job it was. She got me immediately and understood my needs and my wants. She was very prompt to answer a call or an email. And the great thing about Rande is that she made me look at colors that I never would have thought of. My home has her stamp and I love it!

Rande is amazing! We started with her designing our family room and it turned out spectacular. She then designed our dining room, formal living room, guest bathroom, master bedroom ... just about the entire house! Rande's designs are spot on and her excitement and enthusiasm is contagious. Rande did a color consultation for me to re-paint our foyer, stairwell, accent walls, and guest bedroom. She got to know me and my style very well, and through an easy-going conversation. She has a great eye and knew what would work almost immediately. She recommended one thing that seemed slightly out of our comfort zone, but I trusted her instinct and it is perfect! We hired Rande to help us decorate our new home. Rande has been fabulous to work with from day one. She really took the time to understand our style and our goals for how we wanted the new house to feel for our family. We had never used a designer before, and I now understand how finding the right person actually helps you save money overall--there are the obvious designer discounts, but Rande also found some hidden gems in inexpensive local stores that were perfect for our house. And we didn't make the pricey mistakes we had made when buying (the wrong!) furniture for our previous home. Rande also connected us with great local vendors who did a wonderful job at a good price. And when we had a little hiccup with the wallpaper order for one room, Rande took care of it immediately and kept the project on schedule. She went above and beyond throughout the entire process, making sure every detail was right. Rande is a pleasure to work with, and I'm already looking forward to getting her help with some other rooms. I highly recommend her.

We had a specific budget that was smaller than our wish list of projects. We hired Rande who delivered not only beautiful and livable spaces but also guided us through the processes in order to keep us in budget. Rande is creative and delightful with work with. Rande was responsive and remarkably fast in turning around great results. She provides her professional opinion but never forgets that it is your house, not hers. She makes sure to accommodate your specific requirements (for us it was incorporating key pieces we had collected over the years and our dog!) while ensuring the final results are fabulous. Can't wait for phase 2!

Relatively new to the LA market and needed a designer to partner with on a small (sub $40k) project in our new home. After careful review, we elected to engage Rande Leaman to team with on this project. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with her level of professionalism, responsiveness and ability to deliver on very colorful options for the multiple rooms we asked her support with. Having not used this site and designers previously, we were a little hesitant but Rande's support exceeded our expectations. The final results were within budget (both time and money) and we are very pleased with the options and vision that resulted in our house. I have never before written a review but I have been so impressed and have had such a wonderful experience with Rande,I decided to write a review so others could know what a life saver she has been for us. I had never worked with a designer before but decided I really needed help since I wanted to remodel the kitchen and change the color scheme of our new home. I will never regret that decision. Rande has helped us with every step and more! She is excellent with communication and keeping the projects progressing on time and at the same time making sure each detail is covered and the quality of the work is outstanding! Her design is impeccable and she has really worked with our budget to enable us to get the most for our money. I really couldn't be happier; our house is cohesive and extremely functional. We have a young child and pets and she found items and fabrics that would be durable, washable and at the same time look great!! Rande has been and continues to be a pleasure to work with! My husband hired her to design our living room space as a birthday present to me a year ago. I highly recommend Rande for interior design! She is amazing and has helped me for the past year as my time and budget has allowed. Rande learned what mattered to me, understood what I was going for, and was able to help me to be decisive which is not an easy task. I had only one material possession that meant a lot to me which was an old tattered picture that has been passed down to five generations. Rande added this and that... found some great old pieces and had them reupholstered, had some pieces custom made, and found great new pieces for what turned out to be really fabulous. There is no way I could have ended up with a room that I would love as much as I do without her help. In addition to designing an entire room, she helped me with a partial remodel in the bathroom which she made look like a million bucks for a very little amount and transformed my dinning and living space. I wanted to write this review in appreciation for all the extra TLC Rande offered though the process. She is very good at what she does.

Rande just helped me redo my entire living room and I am loving it! It changed the look of my house in such a great way. If is warm and cozy but elegant and modern. She helped me find great pieces from all over at really nice prices as well. I have pets and finding a rug that worked and was durable and washable was a challenge, but she had a great rug source that has the perfect one. Everyone who sees my living room comments on how great it looks. Its exactly what I was looking for and she was great to work with. I can't wait to have her help me again when needed and to also refer her to friends and clients. She is a real gem!

Working with Rande was great...I love that she can find a solution to design problems. I was really stumped about what to do in my guest room because the room is so funky...a headboard couldn't fit between two windows without partially covering them up. Rande had a creative idea to add texture and color to the wall with grass cloth and it turned out beautifully...Looks amazing!

We enlisted Rande to stage our home Her designs were simple and tasteful and displayed the true beauty of our home Net result our home had multiple offers after the open house! We engaged this design company twice to design three rooms in our home and we could not be more pleased with the results. The rooms were transformed! Rande has a great vision and it was a pleasure to work with her. We have a five-bedroom house in a Cape Cod style. We first worked with Rande to fully furnish and design the front room and to re-design a living room using an existing couch. We wanted a space that felt sophisticated yet welcoming to our young children. Rande found beautiful texture in the rugs and fabric for the couch and great pieces of furniture to enhance the space. A year later we engaged Rande to re-design our master bedroom. I was seeking to create a serene retreat which Rande accomplished by re-upholstering two family heirloom chairs, selecting a new bed, bench and nightstands and coordinating wallpaper, rug and fabrics. The result is flawless and the process was fun.

After moving into a new home, Rande Leaman Designs had been recommended to me by and associate who used the firm previously. I was not able to complete my entire home at this juncture, but all areas (both bedroom and living room) were done perfectly. Wonderful recommendations and selections that have really created more than I could have imagined. Rande was understanding and respectful of financial limitations and ensured all selections were in line with our initial desires and personalities. When we are ready to complete other rooms in our home, I will no doubt contact Rande Leaman Interior Designs again!

I love Rande's style! A friend had used Rande to help with fabrics and design in her home and I was knocked out. I had her come to my home and she immediately had some great ideas. She got my style and the style of my home and, when the project was done, she had created an amazing space and I couldn't be happier.

Rande came highly recommended to me by a couple of my friends whose homes she had decorated. I had just moved from a large house to a small townhouse and I was totally frustrated because I had so little time to decorate and find furniture (I worked full time) and didnt have a clue of where to begin. Yet, I knew what I liked and what I didnt like, but I couldn't pull it together. When I first met Rande I liked her immediately. She was so knowledgable, and warm and friendly. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she made me feel that I could actually have a really nice home even though I had to start all over again and was on somewhat of a budget (although that has been hard to stick to for me that is!). She got an idea of what I liked and immediately when to work and brought over sample boards with materials and color schemes to see where my taste tended to go.
