I create bespoke upholstery, re-upholstery and soft furnishings, using traditional or modern techniques and materials suited to furniture for your home or business As an experienced upholsterer in London I use my skills and techniques to breathe new life into your most treasured chairs, sofas, stools, benches, headboards and just about everything and anything else that needs my abilities to help you realise a seating or soft furnishing concept. I also work with, and provide, upholstery services in London to a variety of interior designers & architects and creatives on residential or commercial projects, and gain great joy and satisfaction from collaborating with other creatives in helping them realise their projects.

excellent work - Ray re covered a Roche Bobois modular sofa that comprised 12 pieces including corners in three Designers Guild velvets. The piping and attention to detail from Ray means it is beautifully finished. He was always helpful to me as a client and although the original time quote was extended he kept me fully briefed on progress and involved in any decisions. I found his work top quality all round, less expensive than other central London quotes, and I highly recommend his service.

We ordered a pair of Ray’s wonderful Monkey cushions and wasn’t disappointed when they arrived. The supreme quality and superb craftsmanship showed throughout. The cushions and his design are simply a piece of art work . We would not hesitate to return to Ray for more upholstery needs and recommend him highly.

I needed chair legs replacing and Ray sources the new materials and fixed the chair. Ray was quick to get back to me, really easy to communicate with and did a great job fast! Will be recommending to a friend who needs a chair upholstered.

Ray recovered a 1920's love seat for me- it's AMAZING! He is a true creative master. He used his own design - the monkeys- it's a focal point of our home. Thanks Ray- we've had so many comments on it already.

Ray did a great job restoring a very moth-eaten 1950's Danish sofa I had acquired. Not only did he come round to view the piece in person, it was really beneficial that he could get a sense of my style and taste and how it could complement my other furnishings. I would thoroughly recommend Ray and his work, I appreciated his creativity so he could advise me of that would work the best but he was extremely professional and always kept me informed about the delivery timescale. Great job and highly recommended!

Ray put new upholstery on two armchairs and the final product is excellent. I had a decision to make, replace the chairs with new ones or have them reupholstered, albeit for a similar price maybe? I am so pleased with this decision I made. I love the chairs but they needed care and this is just what Ray has provided. I can highly recommend his work.
