Richard Sterman did an excellent job of completely updating a 1950s house for us. His budget was detailed and accurate - which from my past experience with other contractors I can say is uncommon. He did what he said he would do and more. He was readily available and highly responsive. As with any remodels, there were unexpected problems and he dealt with them in a highly professional manner. There were a small handful of minor after-the-fact customer service items and his customer service has also been excellent. If this were a survey, I'd rate him "exceeded expectations."

Working with Palisades Kitchen and Bath made our kitchen remodel a breeze! We had a roof leak that destroyed our kitchen. Richard skillfully coordinated the trades to step in clean up and rebuild our kitchen in about 2 months. The job included everything - drywall, flooring, electrical, plumbing, cabinets, painting, countertops. Everyone was professional and responsive to our job. We love our unexpected but wonderful new kitchen!

We have used PKB several times to remodel our bathrooms in our home! Each time we have done this I am not only amazed at the results, but they are so easy to deal with and the come in on time and on budget. They focus on achieving the esthetic and finish you want. Rich Sterman and his team with whom he has been working for over 20 years are the most professional and highly-skilled people with whom we have ever worked. We have remodeled three homes in Pacific Palisades over the last 35 years, and this was the best remodeling experience we have ever had. To start with, Rich's contracts are utterly above board and honest. Example: the contract is broken down into pricing for each individual stage which you pay for only when that stage is completed. Each stage has a timeline connected to it, as well as a timeline to complete the entire project. Rich is there regularly overseeing everything. He makes sure the project stays on schedule and that his team is giving you the best possible outcome. Rich is a great communicator, who is patient and answers all of your questions. What you will get working with Rich and his team is attendance to every little detail, a highly organized project, the best referrals for items you need to purchase (such as appliances, tile, etc.), a fantastic in-house architect, someone who is reliable, highly professional, and keeps his commitments. Working with Rich and his team has been a great experience, and we are thrilled with our beautiful, new kitchen. We could not possibly imagine a better outcome.

After a fantastic kitchen remodel, we used Rich and his team again for a bathroom and bedroom remodel and addition of a rooftop deck. Both came out great. Each of the projects was completed on time and on budget depute the challenges of COVID. He not only did great work, but he also gave us very good advice on how to tackle each project's unique challenges. He was also very good about coming back to fix any loose ends as is always to be expected. We are once again very happy with the job that PKB did and we are already talking to him about doing another project for us.

Our experience with Rich and his crew from Palisades Kitchen and Bath could not have been better. Rich was a pleasure to work with. He is friendly, responsive, transparent, detail-oriented, and goes above and beyond what is expected. We did a complete kitchen and bathroom overhaul. The work was consistently high-quality and came in on time and on budget. His sub-contractors were total pros. We were out of town for much of the renovation and Rich communicated with us regularly, sending pictures throughout the process so we could track the progress. In addition, when our daughter was having a problem at her new apartment, Rich went down there as a favor and got it sorted out. We have done three major home remodels and RIch is by far the best contractor we've ever worked with.

We worked with Rich and his team on a full, top to bottom remodel and could not have had a better working experience and end-result. We re-did the roof, flooring, walls, kitchen, baths and bedrooms- basically rebuilt the entire home. The whole process was incredibly well managed, transparent and we always felt like Rich and his team had our best interest in mind. They adapted to the pandemic circumstance that we were working in, they found solutions that were both practical and design-forward and best of all it came in on budget. It's hard to find someone who is sincere in both their attention to you as a client and to the craftsmanship at hand and Rich and team did so incredibly well and even saved us from ourselves and some runaway thoughts on several occasions! Rich helped us a few years ago with a project to replace our bathroom cabinets and did a great job. He was timely and the new cabinets look great. We then recently had a mystery leak from our shower and were told by multiple other contractors/plumbers that we needed to re-do the entire shower at great expense. Luckily we asked Rich for his advice as well and he told us that he was fairly confident that we just needed to replace the cracked caulking. Well, we took his suggestion and the leak has now stopped. We are so happy that we contacted Rich and that he not only helped solve our problem but also saved us a lot of money.

I truly can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Rich and his team! Rich helped walk us through every aspect of our kitchen, bathroom, and flooring remodel from start to finish! He gave helpful tips, stayed on budget and finished right on schedule! His team is wonderful to work with and we can't wait to use him again to remodel our master bath!

Rich and his staff are complete professionals. We asked them to redo our bathrooms (three of them) and the results are just great. Also, Rich gave us a timeline and he stuck to it. Polite, courteous and communicative are other adjectives that come to mind with Rich and his team. Lastly, often times we were short on time to make decisions, so we relied on Rich to do so - and couldn't be more pleased. Thx Rich and team!
