Architectural Concepts Design/Remodeling

We used Architectural Concepts to remodel our basement at our old house and decided to use them again for our new house. They are very reasonable; and Rick is great to work with. He's available, asks great questions about details I hadn't thought of and offers suggestions that make me smile. Having used them in the past with a favorable result, we decided to use them again for our sons' bathrooms. We are thrilled with the final result. They turned out EXACTLY as I had envisioned with a few luxuries I hadn't thought of--barn door, custom vanities and mirrors, upgraded exhaust fans with timers and dimmable lights. Rick is customer-service driven. He goes above and beyond. In fact, he even brought me breakfast and a hot tea one morning when I was unable to make my tea due to the water being turned off during construction.

I can NOT say enough about how happy my husband and I have been with Rick and his crew at Architectural Concepts. We've had a number of home remodeling projects in the past before we heard about Rick. They can't hold a candle to the vision, workmanship and reliability backed up by years of experience that we witnessed using Rick and his crew. We had a small, closed in, 30 year old kitchen that was transformed in to this fabulous center of our frequent home entertaining. He had amazing ideas to make the most of our available space that I NEVER would have thought of. An added bonus? I had a couple of idea's of my own in mind and Rick made it ALL happen! I now have a gorgeous kitchen I could only have DREAMED of with open access to most of our main level. Architectural Concepts is AMAZING!

Ric has done several projects in my home: a kitchen and 2 bathroom remodels. He has excellent suggestions and ideas. He is very good with design, planning, colors, etc. , and the finished projects are amazing. The people who work for him were always courteous, nice, and know what they are doing.

I really enjoyed working with Ric on this job. He was very professional, maintained the schedule and kept me informed throughout the project. He had good suggestions and ideas that made the bathroom look even better than I could have imagined. Work quality was outstanding. Would definitely use Ric again for another project.

My husband and I have used Architectural Concepts for many projects in the past 8 years. The reason we first contacted the owner is because we saw our friends’ remodeled basement and we were so impressed- we had never seen such a well thought out and well done finished basement. Projects this company has completed for us include remodeling 4 bathrooms in our house, 1 bathroom at our lake house, 2 bedroom total closet makeovers, making a “secret” passage from one closet to the next, remodeling our kitchen pantry, converting our lake house front door entrance to a totally new look, adding a large balcony off our bedroom to overlook our pool, rebuilding steps and deck at our lake house, adding extensive molding and wainscoting to our living room and dining room, raising our garage entrance so a tall vehicle can fit inside. Before the owner came out for the first job, we had 3 other highly recommended contractors come out for bids for a particular job and all three of them were unimpressive but when Rick came out he immediately began measuring, taking pictures, taking notes and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. He had a bid promptly (we never received a call back from the other 3). After that, we continued to do multiple projects and have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism. Every job exceeded our expectations and he was accurate at cost and time estimates. Obviously we highly recommend Arcitectural Concepts.

It's unfortunate that Houzz only allows for the uploading of four photos, because I have dozens that show the high-quality of work provided by Ric and his crew at Architectural Concepts. When we hired Ric, we had already demo'd our entire home, and basically just had a brick box. We gave our specifications, and Ric drew up the plans and went to work. They handled the electric, plumbing, insulation, drywall, and everything else, with the upmost professionalism. If you take a look at the pictures I uploaded, you'll see the top-of-the-line quality on the finishing touches that Ric and his guys provide. Ric is always easy to get a hold of, which, as most know, is not always the case with contractors. Shortly after we moved in, we started experiencing issues with our power. I called Ric on Saturday and he had his electrician there Sunday. It turns out, I wasted everyone's time, as it was an issue with the power company's line coming into the house, but the story illustrates Ric's accessibility and responsiveness. If you're looking to get any remodeling done, do yourself a favor and call Architectural Concepts.

Rick and his team of craftsmen did an amazing job on our Kitchen/ Family Room project. His Design/Build ability, his guidance from beginning to completion, his schedule was right on, as well as his old school attitude, yes, I can do that, and he did, he wanted us to be 100% satisfied with every step of our Kitchen/Family Room transition to our new Grand Kitchen concept, We Love everything he has done, and Yes, we are extremely satisfied with everything. Rick is a pleasure to work with, his advice is invaluable. We look forward to working with Rick on our next project, so will you.

Amazing work. Did a complete rehab of our main living area including a beautiful white kitchen, laundry, cubby addition, stone fireplace, and built in bookcases. He also just finished our landscaping project outside. We have done massive renovations to our home but he has done an amazing job. The only problem is... it’s hard not to keep renovating!
