My DREAM!!! Lord of The Rings theater was envisioned, developed and built buy the wonderful people at AcousticSmart. Anyone looking to do a custom home theater or very simple elegant theater/screening room this is the company to go with period. From the custom design to the acoustic treatment to their outstanding custom leather theater chairs and the very carefully planned and organized project made this dream home theater come to life and made it my absolute favorite room in the entire house. The theater that AcousticSmart recently installed is magnificent. Everyone that walks in there is blown away. As a real estate developer by trade, I’ve dealt with countless project managers and I can say with confidence Jim Damm falls at the top of the heat. Incredibly reactive, responsive, engaged, and effective on all fronts. If there was a problem, he’d solve it immediately. It’s been a pleasure working with all of the AcousticSmart team, and I will happily speak with any prospective clients or write a letter of recommendation if the need arises in the future. This theater was started from a plan to use the movie Stargate as a theme. As the theater plan advanced thru a couple of design changes it was approved and installation was started. The wall covering is acoustic cloth with a design print of big sandstone blocks especially designed by them for this project and as you would find in an Egyptian tomb and it came out fantastically. The walls are acoustically treated as is the ceiling and it is covered with fiber optic stars with shooting stars and constellations. Sconces were made from scratch and resemble flickering torches. As the room is 15 feet tall it gave them plenty of room to put columns topped with design beams from column to column with hieroglyphics on everything. The door was an inspiration in itself and is covered with hieroglyphics from top to bottom and never fails to impress all visitors. The back counter is one piece of stained concrete with bar stools for extra seating. Egyptian statues were added in the front and are lighted. The extras are almost too numerous to name and most design pieces were done from scratch. Sound is completely contained within the room even at very loud settings. Installation with all equipment was about a year but I couldn't be more pleased and am in awe every time I enter the theater myself.

Acoustic Smart created a special room where our family and friends can gather and create everlasting memories. The room is modern, warm and timeless. They are a pleasure and nothing but professional to work with.
