Rob the owner is a wonderful honest man to work with and very skilled! He installed bamboo floors in almost our entire house and tiled 3 bathrooms, re-did our carpeted stairs with wood and replaced all the posts and beams with new ones. It looks fantastic. He also replaced all our baseboard trim. This was our first house and we knew nothing about remodeling when we first met Rob. I am so grateful we found him first because he's honest, hard working and gave us fair prices. He also came back and did every follow up thing he said he was going to do. Sadly, I cannot say the same for many of the other contractors we've worked with. After remodeling our entire house over a year's time and working with many many people, I can truly say Rob is one of the best! If you need wood floors or tile, hire Rob!!

Bob did a great job in a timely manner. Initially, he brought several samples and gave me valuable input as to color and width. My kitchen/family room abuts my dining room and hallway which have the original flooring (1958). With Bob's help I found the perfect flooring. Bob is courteous and patient ..... and skillful. I have already recommended National Floors to friends.

highly recommend National Floors/Bob LaPorte. Previously, Bob drum sanded and refinished all of our hardwood floors throughout the house. He also laid down a beautiful engineered white oak floor in our finished basement and everyone comments how beautiful it is. Most recently Bob laid epoxy flooring on the "un-finished" side of our basement and garage. He did an amazing job! The un-finished basement and garage look like brand new rooms. Bob goes above and beyond the scope of the work that he is hired to do. He treats the customer's home the way he would treat his own. He listens carefully to your concerns and tries to address them. I have used National Floors for several hardwood floor projects over many years. These have ranged from a simple buff and recoat of an existing hardwood floor, to a full new floor installation. In one case, they were required to add to an existing floor, and this required a rather intricate job of fitting in new pieces of wood in a random pattern to match the old. The final result was excellent and looked as if the floor had been installed all at once. Their crew was always courteous and they cleaned up after every day's work. I will continue to use them for my hardwood floor work.
