The relationship with your architect is key to any renovation. You want someone who not only has good ideas, and is visionary, but who also is a strong advocate for you with your builder, and who also can help you navigate the process (with permits, engineers, town inspections, etc.) without losing your mind! I was naive about all the pieces of this project. With Covid, my project was particularly frustrating. I was impressed with Adam's design, and thrilled with his vision for lifting my house to create a full ground level with a garage (other architects advised me it was an impossibility). And more so for selling it to the Historic commission using the angle that it would improve parking, a town concern. He almost always picked up my phone calls, or returned my calls immediately. He listened, he held my hand, he spoke on my behalf to the builder, and especially with the town officials. He went above and beyond in my opinion. Two years later, my project is finally nearing completion! It was promised a year ago. I lost rents, I was fined by the town, I was put off again and again by my builder. I could not understand the delays. Promises not kept by my contractor. Total lack of responsiveness and communication. Be forewarned! Do your research. I have a new appreciation for what architects add to the experience. Good design, yes, but so much more. Or maybe Adam was an exception. All I know is I made a very good decision to hire him.

I have nothing but great things to say about architect Adam Crossland and Bachich Associates. Adam is very creative and professional and was very quick to be in synch with what we're looking for - from style, usage, budget, etc. He has a TON of contacts and is very helpful in providing us referrals for related needs (I.e. interior design, kitchen cabinetry, decks). Perhaps the best thing I can say about Adam, though, is that he has truly been our advocate in the renovation process. He does more than just create design plans. He is ALWAYS available for us, even if we need to speak after traditional business hours. I wholeheartedly recommend Adam & Bachich Associates regardless of the size of your project. He won't make you feel bad working on a smaller project and he has a lot of massive projects to his credit as well. You absolutely can't go wrong here.

Adam Crossland is amazing. He is exceptional. We have worked with several architects over our many years of owning homes. Our last three projects we were fortunate enough to have Adam design and follow through with all of our projects. He is by far the highest quality and most responsible architect we have ever dealt with.He is very fair priced and always available when you need assistance. In my opinion, don’t waste your time doing any research when you have Adam Crossland available.

I have worked with Adam on multiple projects and he is hands down the BEST! He listens to exactly what you want and does not miss a detail. He is super creative and smart with spaces. Adam's vision for the remodel of our three-story townhouse situated in the rear of an historical Victorian beach home was spectacular! Not only did he take into account all of our needs (additional bathroom and closets, laundry room and extra sleeping space) he accomplished it all without sacrificing the ambience and charm of the original structure, such as exposed brick and marble fireplace. We love our open, airy kitchen and the grandkids love the bunk room! He's a true professional, always follows through and delivers on time in a town that some call Cape May-be.

Adam was easy to work with, had great ideas for our renovation plans, was timely with turnaround and responsive to our questions.

We worked closely with Bob Bachich on our home. His ideas and talent enabled us to squeeze the maximum amount of living space out of a 35ft. wide lot. He also took time to understand our needs and make certain they were accommodated in the design, such as closets, high ceilings, lighting needs, etc. Our contractor also noted that Bob's drawings were more detailed than any other architect he had worked which provided excellent guidance and eliminated the guess work he normally experienced.

Working with Bob on the design for our OC tare down was everything you could ask for when entering into such a massive undertaking. Bob understood our vision and followed it to a tea, while offering exceptional embellishments that we had not even dreamed of. The project was completed on time and on budget thanks to the careful initial considerations for design and life style. We hope never to have to do this again but if we were ever to undertake another project Bob would be the first one we would call.

We have had an excellent experience working with Adam Crossland (architect) while planning and building our beach house. We provided him with house features that we wanted and he designed a wonderful home for us. He has a professional demeanor and is very responsive to questions, emails and phone calls. He has worked patiently and diligently with the city, our builder, and engineers in regards to zoning, permits and design.

When we needed an architect for an addition to our home, we called Adam Crossland, at Bachich Associates. Adam was very patient, explaining the entire process. There were no surprises and our project continued without a hitch.

I hired this firm to designed my summer residence . The entire architectural design was handled by this firm. I was always treated with respect, all my questions were answered, and any changes I requested were made, or an explanation was given as to why it was not possible to make requested changes. The architect worked well with my builder. All deadlines were met.

It was a pleasure working with Adam and Bachich Associates. Adam designed a 20x12 front porch for our 1920 beach cottage in Cape May, New Jersey. He created both traditional and 3D renderings of the porch. He listened attentively to our concerns and designed the porch with architectural integrity. He assisted with permits and architectural review committee presentations . He was paramount in seeing this project completed from design to construction! We simply would not have this addition without his hard work. He was a pleasure to work with! We look forward to celebrating with Adam on our new front porch!
