Shana of Summit Designs LLC. purchased the IPE decking on December 21st, 2018. Her decking pack was delivered on December 26th, 2018. We did not hear from her since the decking was delivered until the February 8 & 9th when the client's contractor brought the decking she would like to return back. RMFP has a 30-day return policy on all of our products, but unfortunately, this was after the 30 days we were up. The manager was considering a swap on the product to help the customer out. But when the manager went out and inspected the decking, it appeared that the material had been left out unprotected in the elements and showed clear signs of weathering. This could not have occurred at our facility due to the specific decking product is stored in a large warehouse out of the elements. At this point we can't expect the return/exchange because the product cannot be re-sold. We sincerely apologize for the circumstance and we do try our best to assist and help our customers out as much as possible, but this situation wasn't one where we could. We hope that Shana and her design firm will give us another chance in the future in hopes of repairing the relationship.
